You can add a smiley to Ebersole for his win over Black Canadian Carlos Newton. Dunno if you guys remember but back in 2001 before UFC became popular, Newton was hyped as being one of the first great black UFC champs after taking Pat Militech's WW title. But along came a man named Matt Hughes and he ruined those plans, KOing Newton to take the title and then finishing him off with a slam KO in the rematch. Newton never recovered and Hughes went on to become a legend before eventually running into GSP.

For that matter I remember 3 years ago everyone was hyping Sokoudjou and Houston Alexander as future black stars, see how that turned out. Hopefully the same will ring true for Jon Jones and King Mo.

Guest, good reminder on Newton. I do indeed recall Hughes powerbomb KO of mulatto Newton. I also hope to see Jon "YOnes" & "Queen Blo" being exposed as pretenders.
