2024 NFL Week 17

We're down to the penultimate week of the 2024 season. Games start on Christmas day this year (Wednesday!) with the Chiefs traveling to Steel City and the Ravens at the Texans.
 
Two good games today, but not a lot of Exciting Whites. I rarely root for the Steelers, but I’m so sick of the Chiefs. And Buffalo still has a long shot to get the top seed in the AFC. I also want the Texans to beat the Ravens. There are still people in the media arguing for Lamar to get another MVP.
 
Annoying that both games are only available on Netflix except for local market coverage. That eliminates most older fans and others from watching on Christmas Day. Maybe there's a good stream available?

I'm interested in seeing how the Steelers do against KC after getting beat soundly the past two weeks by Philly and Baltimore. They haven't won a playoff game since the 2016 season and have wilted down the stretch in several others. Only seven teams currently have longer playoff dry spells. But, but, but, Mike Tomlin is the greatest head coach ever!
 
NFL has no qualms about older(White) crowd not having the streaming services.. Kinda like all the fast food services are switching to kiosks and the old folks hate it. Amerika 2.0. Deal with the changes and adapt or STFU.
 
Justin Watson with a Christmas gift. An unfortunately rare TD catch. Wish he was utilized more but at this point it’s clear what his ceiling is with KC.

In other positive news, George Karlaftis is off to a good start with a sack and a TFL.

Edit: I missed before I started watching Watson’s 49 yard catch. He’s on his way to a big day if Mahomes will continue to look his way.
 
Good to see Watson with some targets! He deserves 6 to 7 a game.
 
Everybody in the national media loves Tomlin, different story in Pittsburgh. Gotta love his "coaching tree," 18 years on the job and no branches, not even a root yet :D
 
Off all people Tomlin should have Roots by now, even if they be nappy.

I heard some radio guy yesterday proclaim that Tomlin was the best coach in the league even over Reid. Its pathetic.

We got an Asian female analyst on the halftime show!
 
Travis Kelce just 2 catches away from 1,000 in his career. He'll be just the 15th player to reach that mark and only the second White player after Jason Witten, who is 4th all-time with 1,228.

Travis is definitely losing his speed as he was an animal in his younger days but is still crafty and knows how to get open.
 
Tomlin with another signature win! Lol oh wait. They scored 10 against a good team. They stink.

Quite possibly a tranny. The fam and were trying to watch “it’s a wonderful life” last night and the first commercial at every break was Rupal drag queen show. Had to shut it off and just rent it.

Hope Kelce can hang on three or for more years and overtake Gonzales reception record. I had no idea Gonzales was so dominant.

I doubt he can go another three or four years. Nobody's that crafty.
 
Stroud has been wildly inaccurate so far. Looks a lot worse this year than he did as a rookie.

We have seen this script before: black QB drafted high, does very well rookie season and then quickly fades.

He seems like an OK guy; wonder how his career will play out.
