Cool deal backrow! I'm glad you posted because I didn't even know there was a game tonight. I'll have to turn it on and watch it muted.

Ben is actually throwing to Sean Morey... twice already in the first drive, unfortunately overthrew him once and the first 12 yard pass was called back due to a penalty.

he was all-NFLE as a corner when the Pats sent him over a few years back, despite never having played DB in his life before. the year before, he had been all-League as a receiver.

Morey is very talented. and smart, too. of course that goes without saying when you're talking about an Ivy Leaguer.Edited by: Jimmy Chitwood

yeah, that's why he's still in NFL... too good to drop, too white to play anything but special teams...

btw they are talking about Pittsburgh needing to go back to power running next seaason... imagine a backfield with Dan Kreider and Brian Leonard - doesn't get much more powerful than that, huh?

Crap, wouldn't you know it'd be on the NFL network when they are throwing to the white guys!

I can't even listen to it.

wow, there we f**king go again... i think it's Gumbel and Collinsworth in the booth and they just commented on last week Derek Anderson 33 yard run along the sideline... (he broke two tackles and refused to go down)
"he looked like Forrest Gump" "i have a hard time not laughing while i watch this"...
smiley7.gif

PS 7 drops by Browns by now... they are going for some sort of record.

EDIT:

"Derek Anderson completes this pass to Jurevicius who seems to be the only receiver cooperating tonight"
smiley17.gif

they were also saying that he should be used way more, especially after he proves how good he is every time they go to him.

btw Winslow got punished by Farrior for a cheap shot block... "Soldier" is a complete idiot.Edited by: backrow

man, Drew Bennett had a drop on what could have been a TD... shame! at least announcers stressed that it's very uncharacteristic for him... still, sucks!

Roy Williams finally makes a catch then loses the ball with out being touched, typical of this buffoon. Turnover costs the Lions, now down 14 zip in the first.

Kitna comes back with an overthrow to Furrey for another INT. Best case scenario is McCown comes in to relieve and moves the team. At least he may see action at WR now that they are down so far.

Furrey does have a couple of catches, he looks confident.

THREE CHEERS FOR MIKE ALSTOTT!!
smiley32.gif

Did the announcers mention that it put him over 5,000?

What happened to Jake Delhomme? I just turned on the game to see Weinke playing. Was Jake benched or did he get hurt? Edited by: White Shogun
