The Political Cesspool Radio Program, the award-winning, syndicated broadcast out of Memphis, will call it a series afterour live show on Friday, February 15. Over the course of the past three years and 14 weeks, we have aired approximately 865 episodes. Resilient and unapologetic, we served as the voice of theConservative Right on the AM airwaves,never once backing down or begging forgiveness for putting America First. When we conclude our run on Friday, we will do so with our popularity at its zenith, bowing out with grace, honor and integrity.
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>We've accomplisheda great deal,setting manyprecedents in the process. We proved that even in today's "Politically Correct" climate, a mainstreampro-White broadcast could not onlysurvive, but thrive! We took the best hits that the ADL and SPLC could deliverandthey werenever able tomake a difference. Theseorganizations, powered by their hated of the European American majority, were not able to intimidate our station management, whose support of our program is as ardent today as its ever been. We stood toe-to-toe with the enemies ofWestern culture,beating them soundlyby staying on their air until
we were ready to move on, therebyexposing toeveryone justhow impotent these anti-American organizations are when matched up against men who aren't weak in the knees. I dare say that between myself and Lou Dobbs, we've blackened the eyes of these money-hungryhypocrites.
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>It's probably ironic thatif it weren't for the constant attacks from the ADL and SPLC (and the crush of media attentionthat theiranticsgarnered) thelegacy of
The Political Cesspool would have never become so luminescent. In a way, I suppose thatwe owe them a backhandeddebt of gratitude. Quite seriously though, I sincerelybelieve that our defiant resolve to stand by our convictionswhen faced with the uncertainties that come when you're under fire should serve as the prototypeofhow our Peopleshould conduct ourselves in similar situations. The motto of our show has been, "No Retreat, No Surrender, No Apologies!" What we advocate is what's best for ourfamily and we should neverhesitatetosafeguard the interests of ourkinsmen first.
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>This program has been a phenomenal success by any standard of measurement. However, amidst all of the highlights, victories, high-profile interviews and everything else we've accomplished, the best thing we take fromall ofthis isthe working relationship sharedwith ourcherished listeners. You kept this volunteer radio effort going for a long, long time. Thanks to your financial support and well wishes, we were able togo furtherthan anyone ever thought possible. Not even my appearances on CNN or being named an honorary Memphis City Councilmancould match the pride elicited within me when Irealize that we were able to motivate, encourage and embolden an army of thousands of listeners each and every weeknight. You all deserve a standing ovation.
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>
Why now?
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>You're probably asking yourself, "Why end the show now?" Well,that's a good question! With our listenership growing on a weekly basis, our name recognition at an all-time high and the caliber of guests never being better, I agree that the timingcould appearsuspect. Unfortunately, I have no sensational stories to report. We haven't been blackmailed, bought-out, or have any scandals lurking just beneath the surface. Heck, we haven't even receivedany death threats since Christmas!
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>In this case, the simplest answer is the correct one. As volunteers,we put infull time hourseach week on this program without seeking financial compensation, even though there are substantial costs associated with the production of our work. Having to meet these obligations on top ofthe duties we have within ourdaily lives is cumbersome. Even though the financial support from our audience has been mesmerizing, it still takes a great dealof sacrificeto make ends meet. More importantly, my father has developed some serious illnesses and requires my attention. The show has inflicted some strain on my marriage as well. As much as I love hosting
The Political Cesspool, family and blood bade my attention and so it must be.
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>I purposefully didn't want to release this announcement in advance, because I didn't want folks to think it might be some shady scheme to hold you hostage for donations. We're
slightly more noble than that! Additionally, I wrestled with the decision to share with you the personal conflicts that I'm facing. I am certainlynot divulging this informationin an attempt to seek pity, but rather than appear disingenuous, I decided it would be better to convey the kind of candor and honestyin this announcement that has always been the hallmark of our work.
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>My decision to end this program was reached about two weeks ago, after a long talk with my father, my wife and other important family members, along with the rest of the show'sstaff. I can't say that I've slept more than 4 hours on any given night during the course of the pasttwo weeks. It's been a gut-wrenching, bittersweet and emotionally devastating decision. I havegiven this show everything that Ihave and the work we've produced together has been the highlight of my life. Just the same,developing content for a two-hour liveprogram, five nights a week for the pastthree and a halfyears has been...arduous. My mind and body are fatigued. I had no expectations when I co-founded
The Political Cesspool on October 26, 2004. My only desire was tomakeour ancestors proud. I hopethat wedid that.

<DIV align=left>
What's next?
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>Each Cesspool staff member will decide for themselves what to do next, but no matter what, I'm sure that we'll always remain brothers. Our website
will remain online and we will continuously update it with fresh news stories and new blog entries! The show itself will remain in syndication indefinitely on the Dixie Broadcasting Radio Network and their affiliatestations, which pleases me. Furthermore, our entire library of broadcast archives will also remain available on our website as aninternet resource. So, keepcheckingour sitedaily forfresh news andinformation or to revisit your favorite interviews! We will continue tokeep our e-mail list active, in order to keep you abreast of future developments and endeavors.
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>As for me, I plan to take a couple of weeks off and get to know my family again.Afterwards, I'm looking forward to exploring different challenges anddiscovering whatnew opportunities present themselves. In no way, shape or form, have you heard the last from James Edwards as a European American activist. In fact, all of this is just the beginning. I'd perhapsbe open toseeking elected office again...one day. Another dream of mine would be to write a "behind-the-scenes"book detailingmy experiences as host of
The Political Cesspool and tocontinue my public speaking engagements
. Additionally, I will remain involved as an active member of the Board of Directors of the Council of Conservative Citizens and fulfil my obligations to all of the other organizations with which I am associated.It's been saidthat sharks die if they aren't swimming. Well, similar to the Great White,I'd die if I were not contributing to the survival of our race.
<DIV align=left>
<DIV align=left>I'd alsolike to see other more talented, more well-financed activists follow our lead into radio.I believe that our trailblazing work has effectivelyreintroduced paleoconservatism, nationalism and common sense to "mainstream"political talk radio andthat we'vebeen able to mobilizeour listeners to speak out in defense of their cultural heritage. It has been the highest honor of my life toserve asa spokesman for this Cause. We took on the world and made headlines. I hope that the legacy of what we've donehere will be remembered and inspire others to aim higher.
