Eagles with a whopping 5 offensive starters today! Brent Celek finally starts over LJ Smith, with Dan Klecko at FB, Kevin Curtis at WR, and 2 white O-linemen.

Encouraging! Brings them to 7 white starters this afternoon.

By the way, Andy Studebaker is back to his natural position of DE with the Chiefs.Edited by: PhillyBirds

Kevin Walter is off to a fast start with 3 catches for 30 yards. Let's hope he keeps it up. Also is Mike Furrey even seeing any playing time in Detroit?

Furrey is injured, I believe.

Also, big Dan Klecko with two receptions for two first downs! What a football player.

Ravens' all-black offensive line is like swiss cheese against the Philadelphia pass rush. Edited by: PhillyBirds

How about TUff Davis?? Flying down on punt team the first time the Titans punt and just creaming Leon Washington! It was great to see!

Anyone else see Jarret Johnson's fumble recovery of McNabb? He blitzed around the tackle and knocked the ball into the air and caught it and returned it 22 yards. It was more of an interception but for some reason it was marked fumble recovery on nfl.com

Devin Hester is the most over-rated kick returner in the NFL. Now that teams have figured him out, he's useless.

How much are the Bears paying him to be a now-ineffective kick returner and a mediocre wide receiver? Good thing he held out for extra money.

Wes Welker has 6 receptions today. At least 6 catches every game this year!

Andy Reid pulls Donovan McNabb for Kevin Kolb in the second half.

Doesn't matter, as Reid's criminal playcalling will make any QB switch totally irrelevant. Real baptism-by-fire for Kolb here.Edited by: PhillyBirds

Shanahan is giving Hillis the ball on back to back carries. I think it would be best to switch the playcalling up a bit to give Hillis the best chance. We're finally seeing a white rb get carries...love it

It is for 4 years reportedly for around $40 million(15 million guaranteed). I don't really know how it is loaded. Way too much for a guy who amounts to what a semi productive possession or slot receiever and a kick returner could produce.Edited by: Bear Backer

did it looked like there was confusion on hillis's part on the playcall? or was i seeing things

Hillis took the hand off from Cutler from the fullback posistion. I think that it was on Cutler plus Hillis was pretty much hit in the backfeild before he had a chance to do anything

It's going to be hard to sit Hillis back down when the black guys start getting better.

Did Dave Tollefson start for the Giants tonight? He's on the field for every down. Also, Madison Hedgec0ck with his first career touchdown!

its a shame this game has got away from Denver meaning they have had to pass more which meant less rushes for Hillis

Did Spencer Larson start both ways again? I see he has 5 tackles on defense.

Congrats to the amazing Matt Cassel, the first NE QB to pass for 400+ yards in two straight games! Tom Brady has never even done this.

I'd like to see Cassel go to a team (next season) with a starting black QB...but next year there might not be any left!
