They won a bronze medal at the 2007 World Champs in the 4 x 100 Relay. They did it with out Chambers. They missed the silver by 1/100th of a second. They can do it again with out Dwain. Who needs him? Even if you won a medal with the cheats, if they are caught later on, every team member loses their medal. How is that fair? Screw Chambers and anyone else who cheats. no doubt in my mind Harry & Williamson are on peds. jacked is a understatement. they look bigger the Johnson in '88.

I left some feedback on the youtube vids.

I really want to see CP down around 10.04-10.09 this year!

A day and a half until Craig races! Even better, the weather will be in between 50 and 70 degrees farenheit and partly cloudy. Only a 20% chance of precipitation on the 29th. Hopefully it will be over 60 degrees when craig races. He needs to do better than 10.19 because that is what Harry AA has run. Good luck Craig, I know you can do it!

The top speed is there and the 15.42 150 meter is awesome.

In fact, he needs to beat 10.15 soon because Dasalou ran that. Either way, he is on the relay team for sure in Berlin. I wouldn't be too upset if he just got a medal there this year as long as he runs a new PB. Because by 2012 both Chaimbers and Devonish will be out of his way, maybe even sooner.

No pressure huh? Lol. I have a feeling that the time will be.............................................................................................................................................................................around................................................................................................................................10.18 because it is Serbia after all. I think the quickest time last year for the participants in this race was in the 10.40's for the win. It is a slow track usually with crosswinds. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I forgot to mention. My friend Matic Osovnikar is in this same race. He doesn't get the credit he deserves with a 10.13 personal best. He also was the only white sprinter to make the 2007 World Championships 100 meters Finals. We never seem to talk about him and he is a hell of a guy. I have talked to him and he is very polite. On the track he is a beast though. He may be older but don't count him out yet.

The rival Simeon Williamson will be there as well. Bring it on!

Williamson seems to be done this year. I hope Osovnikar are Pickering both run really fast. I want a sub 10.20 for Craig and a sub 10.25 for Matic. WL, would you be happy if Craig only went to Berlin for the relay, got a medal in that, and sometime during the year ran a 10.0x? I would not be that mad, although somewhat dissapointed, because both Devonish and Chaimbers will surely retire before 2012. Well, Chaimbers isn't even allowed. Dasaolu will be tough for Craig to beat, I really hope Craig does it. But my goals for Craig, like Lemaitre, Blum, and Cerutti are long term.

My goals for Craig:

2009:
-run below 10.10
-get some hardware in Berlin in the 4x100
-hopefully run in Berlin individually

2010:
-medal in the 60m world championship (after that he should be done with thhe 60 meter and focus on the 100 meter)
-run sub 6.55
-potentially break ten

2011:
-focus on the 200/100m and not as much on winter season.
-break ten
-make finals of the World championships
-maybe gold in the 60 meter but focus on spring

2012:
-gold medal 100m
-sub 10

2014
-gold in commonwealths
-sub 10 wind aided, go out like Allan Wells

2015
-coach me to the 50 meter world record
-get married and I will be his best man

2016
-have a child. preferably a boy named after yours truly

To not qualify for the World Championship Finals, let alone the team would be very dissapointing to put it lightly. Not an option. It will not happen. Make the team and advance to the finals hopefully finishing around 6th place or so would be acceptable for this year. Nothing less. Strive to be the best and screw the rest. Never fear your competition. The mental game is as important as the physical component. It may sound hard to belive but it is true. You have to belive you can win and visualize it in your head. If not, why bother stepping on the track.

Craig ran a 10.16 wind aided in the finals and a 10.26 wind legal in prelims so in my opinion a very solid if not great start to the season. Andy Turner also won the 110 meter hurdles in a time of 13.29 seconds which is .02 of his pb.

A 10.16 at +3.0 wind equals 10.30 at no wind, anda 10.26 at +1.5 wind equals a 10.34 with no wind as well. I was looking for better times considering 10 has already been breached, but I guess it's still early for him.Edited by: Pierce

I am very happy with the results. It is early in the season and it was on a historically slow track according to WL. Craig will be racing again in a little over a week. I think he will dip below 10.20 legal in that one no problem. Where are the results and how far behind was Williamson?

Damn. Craig beat an awesome sprinter in Markus Brunson and ran a very fast time. But I am really pissed Williamson beat him. I need to see the race to analyze it. Craig will beat him when it matters.

Craig beat Markus Brunson, who ran a 10.12 this year with no wind. That is a good start to any season. His 10.16 time with 3m/s wind and legal 10.26 time shows how slow this track is. I bet his next race will be in the low 10.10's.

But Wiiliamson is obviously on PEDs. I'm pretty sure he was in the mid to high ten's and ran almost 23 in the 200 meter just a couple weeks ago. Now he ran a time that would come close to a sub 10 on a faster track.

Pickering has a couple threats this year:

Devonish: 10.11 (steroids-too old to be faster than ever)
Chaimbers 10.21 into headwind (wrote book on everything he took)
Williamson: 10.10w (trained in Jamaica)
Edgar: 10.20 (sucks)
Harry AA: 10.19 (have you seen how big this guy's neck is)
Dasaolu: 10.15 (little suspicious coming out of nowhere)
Gerald Phiri: 10.23w (sucks)

Devonish and Chaimbers are probably in Berlin. Craig is going to have to start running low 10.10s very fast and will have to be 10.0x (hopefully in Italy) before the end of the season. If four competitors are allowed then I think he has a good chance to go to Berlin individually. But if three are allowed it will be very hard to beat out Williamson. He will definitely be on the relay team.

All in all. Craig needs to beat Simeon. If four qualify (IAAF rules say four can if they make A standard 10.22) then Craig will go anyway.

Craig is looking better than ever. But Williamson needs to be beaten.

I think it's 4 members of a country if the defending champion is entered in the event. Anyway I think this result is mixed. I think it should be faster but he was really barely beaten by Williamson and beat a former sub 10 guy in Brunson. He needs to be churning out 10.16's with legal winds to a have legitimate shot at making the finals(unless the testers have a breakthrough).Edited by: white is right

Craig has been the model of consistency over the past several years. Always running about a 10.15 best each season. But in the meantime other sprinters have been improving. Currently Britain has 6 guys who have run faster this year than Craig.
He MUST improve soon or he won't make the British team for the World Championships in Berlin.

Right now there is a big steroid orgy and Craig isn't invited.

But the heat being brought on right now is the best thing for him. It is do or die. Forget about false starts. Forget about everything and just run fast. The pressure is on. Let's see how he respends. I am now more excited and more worried than I have ever been. I feel Craig is his fastest right now, and I am not saying that. He just beat Brunson who already ran 10.12 this season. Craig should get a new PB in the next few times he races. I feel it. Especially if it is Italy. The question may be, is it enough?

10.10 with a 3.0 wind is bad for today standards so I'm guessing it's a real slow track. with that said 10.16 isn't that bad. I think CP starts his season a bit late. He should have a race or 2 under his belt already.
