Micah McFadden is ALL over the field. Clearly the best defender on the Giants and if he keeps this up, in the league.
Knew he was going to be good when making the 2021 Linebacker thread! Not a bad performance last night for a blue collar 5th rounder smh!

The nerds on duty at Weenieworld were not impressed with Brock Purdy's big night. It's fair to say that had a black QB put up those numbers in an easy win, the summary of his play would have been diametrically different:

Brock Purdy completed 25-of-37 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns in the 49ers’ 30-12, Week 3 win over the Giants.
It was another “point guard” performance for the 49ers’ second-year starter, one where he was very lucky to escape without any turnovers. As seemed to often be the case last season, Purdy had several dropped interceptions in the first half, though he was far crisper after the break. He also got the ball to his play-making weapons more than enough times in space, allowing them to rip off chunk gains and tack on major yards after the catch. Purdy’s main skill seems to be his quick processing, though his physical limitations do occasionally get him into trouble. He’s probably overdue for a multi-turnover performance, but he is doing his job in this execution-based offense. He’s a solid QB2 streamer, one who catches the cellar-dwelling Cardinals in Week 4.
Several times in the Opening beating of the Steelers 30 - 7....announcers said "Purdy is sneaky athletic" lol

Looking like McFadden will be another 5th rd steal like Milano was for Buffalo.

Reed Blankenship put in a full practice today and should be available for Monday's national telecast against the Bucs after missing last week's game. There's two Monday night games again this week, Bengals-Rams being the other. The big question mark for that one is the status of Joe Burrow, who reaggravated his calf injury last week.

It’s interesting because “Herbie” a few weeks ago was stating on qbs now should be more like Steph Curry.

The full cultish indoctrination of the “experts” at weenie world is the perfect summation for the programming of all the NPCs that buy into the bread and circus of the NFL and college football. It’s essentially a coping mechanism, they have to fall back on the programming instilled in them when things don’t go the way they were told they should go. Purdy doesn’t look like what they expect QBs to look like moving forward, Lance was supposed to be a dominant generational qb (of course there is a generational qb every year now), Purdy with his football experience, intelligence, accuracy, nimble athleticism was not supposed to be better than Lance and his untapped “upside”.
I wish more dwf would take a minute and asks themselves what exactly does being good at track and field events have to do with playing quarterback? Nobody ever asks what pitchers 40 time and vertical jump are. Throwing an object with speed, precision and on time require a completely different skill set. A player who can do those things plus process information quickly, have good pocket awareness and can read a defense are what is required to play quarterback at a high level. It’s pathetic and small brained how all these dwf accept the premise that “upside” is predicated on good track and field times

Yeah I'm worried about Burrow. Also equally worried about when Cooper Kupp will return and can he pickup where he left off 2 years
ago as the best receiver in the NFL having the 2nd greatest receiving yards season of any nfl receiver in history. Please get well Kupp!

I'm hoping Minshew gets Alec Pierce involved today. . .and that Gardner has a nice game.

Good route and catch early for Gesicki 18 yards! Hopefully Pats o line will hold up to allow Gesicki and Henry to not have to block in line.

Hill has been involved early for the Saints, including a carry from tailback.

Mac Jones got the jets on the run fake with the pass to black third choice tight end brown for the 58 yard touchdown. Up 10 to 0.

I'm really focused on Trevor Lawrence today.
He has looked fine so far but, he needs outplay Stroud as the narrative is getting louder and louder.

Really amazing what Hill does for the Saints. He doesn't play every down and when he comes in there's a 99% chance he's handling the ball in some fashion, everyone knows it and he always makes positive yardage. Not a new revelation of course, but the man should be in on every play if not most.
