Claypool sucks. Mental midget and zero work ethic. So him going to Chicago, where QBs and WRs go to die, Is all too fitting.

10 tackles for Landman. He was projected 6.5 and cleared that easily. Another tackling machine. Too bad ATL will force him back to the bench when Anderson returns. It’s against Negro League policy to have too many tackling machines out there at once. We’ve gotta employ upsiders somehow.
Everything I've read indicates Anderson is done for the year, so Landman should have the rest of the season to prove himself as an unappreciated tackling machine.

Best case scenario is he can parlay a big season into a starting gig next year. Atlanta is obviously invested in Anderson and Elliss. It would be a shame if he had to go back to a reserve role.

Bad news for Anderson, good news for Landman! I agree should prolong his career by the rest of his play this season.

Looking at the early games:

Hopefully the Bills deflate the Dolphins offense a little bit. Allen needs to play smart non-hero ball and get Knox/Kincaid involved.

Broncos - Bears - two teams heavily invested in the black qb hype with disastrous results. Wilson might be one of the worst trades in NFL history when all is said and done. Fields was enjoying insane levels of hype - MVP talk etc. only to see him sputter on the field. Fields, the media and fans all place blame on coaching and not letting him play "his game". Broncos were embarrassed last week, especially the secondary so maybe we get a Riley Moss sighting and impactful plays from Singleton, Sanders, Allen and Henningsen. The loser puts themselves squarely in positon to replace one black QB with another hyped one from the college ranks. Oh the irony!

Ravens - Browns - The perv Watson is out this week but don't worry! The racist black GM has stockpiled black QBs behind to ensure the position in Cleveland does not see a White QB take a snap while he is in control of the front office. These teams both suck but I'll give Jackson credit for being a good player and at least the Ravens have Andrews.

Bengals - Titans - Conflicted on this one. I think the Bengals will end up being find come playoff time. The Titans and Tannehill specifically will be a target for QB change with Malik Willis not Will Levis replacing the perennially underappreciated and attacked Tannehill. Sucks that Charlie Jones is on IR.

Rams - Colts - Go Rams and it goes without saying.

Bucs - Saints - Sounds like Carr is going to give it a go. Rooting for Mayfield in this game. If Winston ends up playing my guess is he will show the Bucs why they gave up on him.

Redskins - Eagles - Probably a blowout as the Redskins can't protect Howell but stranger things have happened. Maybe that overrated Redskins d-line will actually show up today.

Vikings - Panthers - Cousins will have a big day and the Vikings get their first win of the season against the overmatched and underwhelming 1st overall pick Bryce Young.

Steelers - Texans - Rooting for the Steelers to continue to build off the momentum from last week.

Gotta disagree, Claypool had a fine rookie season and then it went downhill from there. His catches and yards in his second season were similar to his rookie year, but his TDs dropped from 9 to 2. He was a legitimate big play threat his rookie year but not since then.

The disenchantment with him began that second season. He's a prima donna who was basically the successor to Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell on the Steelers as a head case. He and "Juju" were more interested in being TikTok stars than being seriously commited to being the best football players they could be. The Steelers made a great trade by somehow getting a second rounder for him from the Bears.
Oh I am not saying he is a good player or model citizen… only that the Bears are benching players to try to break the cycle when the cycle of atrocious play is squarely on the shoulders of their league-worst quarterback. The fact is Claypool was a better player in Pittsburgh, TikTok nonsense and all, than in Chicago.

The receiver from Carolina was also better there than he has been in Chicago. Common denominator is the steaming turd they have at quarterback. Fields, if we all recall, was a trending pick for MVP this year by many players and analysts.

So, the Vikings drive all the way down to the 4 yard line and Cousins throws a pick 6. Second drive stalled.
Young drives the Panthers down inside the 10, goes 3-4 with all 3 completions to Theilen.
Panthers 10- Vikings 0

Crap. Vikings look like the Clemson Tigers today. A pick 6 and now Cousins fumbles inside the 5. 3rd and 1.
Ok. TD Vikings. Cousins to Jefferson.
Panthers 10 Vikings 7
What else is going on out there?

Young not looking all that. All of his completions have been quick outs to Theilen and or check downs to Hurst. He missed a wide open Theilen down field and Harrison Smith drilled him. May have an injury.

FTR Fields is right he ain't gonna be no Brady, Rodgers or a Manning, let him run about make some plays or not and when he gets to be a complete oxygen thief on the roster move on to the next hype job.

The Bengals offense once again is impotent, they've yet to score a TD in the first half of a game.

Jack Gibbens with 8 first half tackles. Another overachiever. You just can’t teach instincts!!

Cousins hit as he throws another INT on the 20 yard line. Score should be 21- 3 at best or 13-7 at worst. Instead, their going into halftime down 13-7 as the Panthers make a 56 yard field goal.
