Irealize thatfavoritism and boosters influence things like that with productive players who are already on the squad, but I think thedifference here is that this kid is being recruited while the coaches have knowledge of hisearlier actions. Its not the same as if he did it while on the team. I would imagine if he did something like this while on the team, especially since he's white, he'd be kicked off the team or at least suspended, even considering the lax standards of today.
