White RBs 2009

Newguy, there is no devine power rallying against white RBs. It's dangerous to think that way as it can make you extremely upset, and hate the world, etc. It's not that the white RBs are simply "screwed from the beginning." There's no intangible force force working against them, simply false stereotypes, misconceptions, unfair blame, bad coaching decisions, and incorrect/false encouragement of white athletes to change positions, and also a little bit of bad luck in certain situations.

When it comes to injuries, some people are just more prone (some people have bones, tendons, muscles, and ligaments that don't take stress well). Regardless, anyone can get injured. You can prepare all you want, but sometimes it will still happen. We can't get mad or upset about it. Yes it's disappointing, but what's done is done, it's not anybody's fault. That's why we need more white RBs out there, because unless it's an extremely lucky year, some of them are bound to be injured.

Toby Gerhart is now on pace for almost 1,500 yards. Luke Lippincott is on pace for around 1,000 but that depends on him getting increased carries in my view.

Maybe New Guy doesn't mean divine power in the literal sense it's just that in their senior year they all get hurt when it's their last chance to impress and almost none of them are injury free and that list also includes Kevin Harris and now Toby Gerhart.What looked like a fine season is now fraying at the edges.We all know what happens to white athletes if they can't go.

Joe Martinek went for 140 yards and a couple of touchdowns versus Army. He's a solid and underrated performer with a huge upside in my opinion. They said his nickname on the team is Super Mario because of his ability to quickly change direction, so that certainly bodes well. If nothing else it's better than the usual Thrilla in Vanilla bullsh*t they call the white guys playing typically black positions. Anyways, Joe's another 100+ yard performance closer to getting his name into some future draft talk, and it was a great way to kick off the weekend for our white athletes.

The black ESPN announcer called him a fullback at the beginning of the game.
There's no explanation other than that this was a purposeful decision on the part of the affirmative action "analyst". ESPN's screen graphics listed him as RB. Rutgers' official roster lists him as a RB (and clearly lables the other players which ARE actually fullbacks). He lined up in the tailback position in this game and all previous games he has played in. You would have to specifically choose to call him a label other than what the facts show. It would be like someone saying, "And Brett Favre steps on the field. He's one of the NFL's best punters this season."

F'ck the announcer Martinek went off last night and he is clearly a very gifted runner with room for improvement in the future. I think he has a chance to be drafted as well as long as he continues to play like he did last night way to go Joe keep up the good work. He hits the hole and has the speed you need to play the position. His future is bright as long as Schiano continues to play him.

The black ESPN announcer also commented more then one time that Joe got most of his yards in the second half. Even though what he said was true, he was using that comment to suggest that Joe got most of his yards due to a tired and inferior army defense, rather then his running skills. Only a white running back can get critized like that with a 140 yard plus performance.

The black announcer also kept saying- multiple times- something like,
"I'm still not convinced they're a running team."
"In games against the tougher defenses in conference, Rutgers did not show the ability to run the ball."

Let me say where this is wrong: The first game- against Cincinnati- Dominic Natale threw 3 INTs! This makes it very difficult to open up the run, when the QB can't put together any sort of drive passing the ball! Then against Pittsburgh, Martinek got a mere 9 carries all game- when he's the type of guy that gets better the more hand offs he gets.

I think the black announcer is scared of white RBs proving that the whole "system" he works for is a lie, or maybe he's just jealous of Joe Martinek being an athletic white man!

Yeah, by the looks of it, this black announcer had an agenda. He kept finding every way he could to disparage Martinek despite a good season and brilliant game last night. Not surprising that this gem of an announcer works for the (E)xaggeration of (S)ports (P)erformance of (N)egros! (For humor purposes only).

I'll throw this under running backs although he's a running quarterback, but some chump announcer decided to announce for no apparent reason that Zach Collaros is not fast. It wasn't even in the context of the conversation and it was for the most part a stand alone comment. Collaros ran for 100+ yards in one half last week including a breakaway run of 50+ yards, and this week he may very well rush for another 100+. Sounds like the type of performance I'd sum up with a simple, "he's not fast". Kid looks to run in the high 4.4 to low 4.6 range which would put him consistently in the top 2-3 fastest quarterbacks at the combine. Lemming announcers never fail to dissapoint.

Here's some more caste news for ya'll. I'm angry and ranting:

The land walrus appears to be fazing out Sharp in the KU offense for tub'a lard Opurum. With the way Sharp had two 100 yard games in a row on a 5.9 YPC average- before his injury he suffered in practice- this makes no sense. Sharp is still way above Opurum in efficiency on the season and worlds ahead as a big play threat with his 4.38 speed. No doubt Sharp would have run for over 4 YPC against Iowa State as Opurum failed to do. Sharp had one rusty game last week in his first game back and the land walrus is retaliating by unexplainably giving bubble butt Opurum more carries in the 1st half than Sharp. Looks like it has paid off real well. Sharp still had the longest play from scrimmage in the 1st half when he got a chance in space on a reception...

The land walrus knows no bounds with stupidity! Chris Brown has 7 carries for 5 yards (much less impressive than Sharp today). Is Stoops fazing out Brown for a 250 lb. true freshman, who runs a 4.65? Wake up DWFs! Sharp needs more than 6 carries to get going. By the land Walrus's own admission, Sharp gets better with more carries after he works his jitters out. Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

So 14 carries for 21 yards (1.5 YPC) for Chris Brown becomes 17 carries for 65 yards (3.8 YPC) and a not too shabby game for Chris Brown. Sharp was outplaying Brown until Brown's last 3 carries- the last of which went for a 26 yard TD. This is what happens when you stick with your best tailback, but that only happens if the back is black. Seven carries for Sharp is a joke. If this happens even one more game this season, Sharp should quit KU and transfer!

Did anybody watch the Ball State v Eastern Michigan game? I didn't see it and the box score is really strange.
For Ball State, Miquale Lewis ran for 301 yards and backup Cory Sykes ran for 203 yards. They only threw the ball 10 times and had 2 completions for 1 total passing yard in the game. Starting QB Kelly Page has a broken thumb and is out for the season (he stunk, anyway). They won the game 29-27, giving Stan Parrish his first head coaching victory in 22 years. But, what I want to know, is did they switch to some new run-heavy offense? Briggs Orsbon didn't have a catch in today's game. And if they've gone to a Double Wing or something, his career might as well be over.

We're still the best "Dual threat" quarterbacks. It's funny how Rivals can have 9\10 top dual threat qbs year in and year out and rarely do they pan out. But (white)guys who are ignored by the scouting services for the most part, can put up staggering numbers and stellar careers!

Yeah, someone should look back to see where Tebow, McCoy, Looker and Lefevour were ranked by CaucasianRivals.com. All four were probably behind a bunch of Afroletes-most of whom didn't pan out I'm guessing.

Demetrius Jones has worked out! Sometimes I wonder if these announcers are on auto pilot when they announce. A White running back automatically is a running fullback. He has to be bullish and a hard worker. It almost makes me wonder how they came up with the comments on Martinek. Martinek is too slim to be a fullback and is very swarthy for a white running back so you would think a guy just reading off the players guide might assume he was mulatto and praise his athleticism.Edited by: white is right

They even went out of there way to call Tebow "like a fullback" when he had a short yardage run to pick up a first down. I guess any back that can get tough yards should be considered a "fullback". This was not long after he tied Herschel Walker's rushing td record. One more and he breaks it. How many guys that are "like a fullback" get close to accomplishing something like that?

They are trying to pound it into our heads that Tebow is best suited for fullback at the next level. On ESPN, they showed 2 of the draft "experts" boards that listed quarterbacks and Tebow wasn't on either from what I could see.Edited by: dwid
