Don has pointed out that there are virtually no white players with nicknames in pro sports. I say we should give them our own nicknames, why wait for the caste supporters to do it? Who knows maybe it will catch on.

Peyton Manning definitely needs one. How about:
Peyton "Pass-Man" Manning

Brian "the Chopper" Urlacher

Kevin Curtis could be "P-40" or "Warhawk" from the famous World War II fighter aircraft.

Carson Palmer: "Kit" form Kit Carson the famous Indian fighter.

Tom Brady: "Tom Terrific"

Alstott was one of the few white players to have a nickname. Then several years later, Anthony Thomas, an average running back at best,joins the league and guess what nickname he's given -- A-Train of course.

I like the one for Carson Palmer, although I don't know if it would fly in these PC-days, since as you mentioned, he was an "Indian fighter."

I was going to say, but Don beat me to it, that A-train was Alstott's nick before they gave it to Anthony "Mediocre" Thomas. Maybe they named him the A-train because he never runs on time and breaks down often?

One of the best indian fighters was Tom Quick. Do a search
on him. He was sick with kills. Or " Liver eatin Johnson"
he wasn't bad either.

Jake Plummer already had a nickname, "The Snake," right?

Adam "Archangel" Archuleta, cause he grabs passes out of thin air and can't be beat;
Peyton "The Man" -ning, 'nuff said.
Tom "Hometown" Brady, for his All-American good looks and persona;
Trent "Diehard" Dilfer, cause he won't go away;
Drew "Cool" Brees, for staying cool under pressure;
Jeremy "Electric" Shockey, for his electrifying game and it goes with the name;
Brett 'the Carver' Favre, for the way he (used to) carve up defenses;

and last but not least, Brad "Daunte Who?" Johnson!

The only current White player that I know of that has a nickname is Ben Roethlesberger who is known as Big Ben. I think that is a pretty good nick-name.

Many White players are just known by their surnames and by just mentioning those people know who you are talking about (Elway, Marino) so in a way the White Athletes last name is sort of like a nickname.
