Our media is afraid to "hype" or give credit to out guys for the fear of being labeled a racist. I really hate when a white broadcaster on espn practically humiliates a white guy for being dunked on while a black on black dunk gets nothing. It makes me sick.

You bring up a good point, rob327, one that has been made here at Caste Football countless times. These media goons will actively follow the mandates of the rigid caste system and tow the line of bias and discrimination against whites. Hopefully, our efforts here and elsewhere will begin to expose this horrible practice and see that things are done fairly.

Well rob you're racist just bring this up. No, I'm just kidding hehe. There was a time when people practiced commonsense, but that time has long passed. White media is afraid because it only takes one person to play the racecard. I think we all know a broadcaster with that on their credentials has pretty much seen the end of their career. The media is just playing it safe, and since whites don't usually cry racism everytime someone is teased it is more common. This is something you wouldn't be able to bring up on any other forum. In the most likelihood you would be banned or have a thousand people calling you a bigot. Spelling out the truth is just bigoted and racist to some.

I hate it when anyone makes fun of a white person getting dunked on. If you are gettig dunked on in basketball, your race is not your biggest concern, it is your position on defense. Anytime any person gets dunked on they should make fun of them and their defensive position.

Or maybe the guys who get dunked on are less egotistical. I
see a lot of defenders steer clear when a player drives to the
rim. They only go after the shot if they're absolutely certain
they're going to block it. Or they'll jump and then pull their arm
back when they realize they're not going to get there. Is that
better than being dunked on? I admire guys like Shawn
Bradley, Yao Ming, and Greg Ostertag for going after every
shot, even if it means the occasional embarrassment on the
SportsCenter highlight reels.

What is worse guys in reality guys, missing a dunk block or a 3 point block. The 3 point block of course. It's the Caste System saying it's worse to get dunked on because it supposedly shows that your inferior cause you can't get up to block it. JD074 just brought up good points to this affect.

JD O74 mentioned shawn bradley in a earlier post. As a dallas mavericks fan the last decade , i have followed shawn bradley very closely and have been and still am a supporter of his. But i have to say his career has been a disappointment considering his talent level. he is a better athlete than people think, 7'6 265 and he was a basebal lplayer and golfer in high school. he is not a stiff except between the ears, i have seen him have nba games of 20 points 15 rebounds and 8 blocked shots as well as altering about 10 others and the next game nothing to speak of. he is too much of a nice guy for the nba. he is a good mormon husband to his 5'4 wife and 4 kids and a shining light in his community but i wish he had lived up more to his potential. here is hoping he has a good playoff run.

The kind of frustrating inconsistency exhibited by Bradley in his career seems to be commonplace among American whites in the NBA. I don't know how many times I've checked out a box score and seen (statistically at least) a topnotch performance turned in by a white player, only to fail to follow it up. Often times he has a dismal next game. The European players aren't nearly as inconsistent.

Don, I believe you are right. I believe white American players in the NBA don't consistent performances night in and night out.
