MU defeated Braga from Portugal. Braga has 27 players listed on wiki and 11 of them are Brazilian. 2 are African.

Benfeca has 6 Portuguese, 7 Brazilians , 5 Argentinians and a Uruguayan.

Shakhtar Donetsk from the Ukraine has 9 Brazilians.

don't be fooled by the nationalities, rodrigo the spanish player was born in brazil :thumb:
so that's 8 brazilians for benfica, and you can also add the 2 paraguayans
benfica had 2 non-southamericans playing yesterday, 1 token portuguese defensive middlefielder, and 1 black dutch, who shouldn't play because bruno cesar the brazilian is so much better

braga has changed a lot, they were much more south-american a few years ago

I think its time Goetze became a first teamer for Germany in place of Ozil. His has excellent close control and his dribbling skill are far superior to Ozil.

Also this is hilarious:

This was hugely effective – Song picked up an early booking for a rash tackle, and was fortunate to get away with two further fouls. He was clearly Barcelona’s weak link, and it’s difficult to imagine that Miku would have done so well against Sergio Busquets, who remains vastly superior in the holding midfield role. (Song also hampered Barcelona’s midfield play – there was no rotation of position and Barcelona were surprisingly static in the centre of the pitch. Song became something of a playmaker at Arsenal last season with sudden midfield runs and chips over the defence, but at Barcelona he’s given less freedom than Busquets).

I understand Song was bought for quota reasons, but what would have happened had Barcelona defied him and bought say Javi Garcia(who eventually went to Manchester City) from Benfica?
Because for what is pretty much the same price they'd get a far better player with much more potential and someone who provides more of an aerial threat.

so now the groupstages of the champions league are over, here are the qualified teams for the 8th of finals:

9640_482129058497151_30216675_n.png

the countries that had the most qualified clubs:

67784_497535863624436_897419513_n.jpg

a few comments from a racial point of view:

all the german clubs (3 out of 3) qualified
(but i don't like bayern munchen's defence - boateng got a really dumb red card in tha latest match, this while badstuber is injuried, so they don't know who will play the next champions league match)
it's nice that dortmund focused on champions league this year, their results compared to last year are impossible to understand if you don't take into account the few players they have on the squad and the focus they put either on the german league or on the champions league
they are the surprise of the season, with 10 white starters out of 11

all the spanish clubs qualified too (4 out of 4)
malaga with 9 white starters looked impressive (i warned you!)
they are one of the best teams in europe regarding the results, but their group was easy
the german and the spanish league happens to be, coincidentally, the whitest leagues in europe

the italian league is declining, but their clubs qualified because the italian teams are experienced and they have a winning mentality
the italian league is also one of the whitest in europe (juventus torino for example has 9-10 white starters out of 11)
you can see how white serie A is comppared to premiere league and ligue 1 by comparing the data on this forum

and then there are the disapointing countries: the blackest leagues in europe, england and france, had disapointing results

in france, only PSG looked like they belong in the champions league (with only 2 black starters usually and 7-8 whites, the whitest team in france, where more than 50% of the starters are blacks)

in england, only 2 teams out of 4 qualified
once again, manchester city was disapointing, and they were exposed for having a bad defence
the key match was that defeat in holland against the weak club ajax, where they pretty much lost all hopes of qualifying
in that match, mancini inexplicably started an all-black defense with clichy, lescott, kompany and richards (!)
this is a disgrace and in champions league you get punished when you do this, mancini deserves to be fired for this
ajax won 3-1

manchester united was in an easy group

chelsea were unlucky because they were in a thought group, but the key momment was when they let juventus score against them and get a draw, while they should have won that match
the goal was because of the black defensive middlefielder obi mikel: http://www.castefootball.us/forums/...ders-2012-2013?p=258456&viewfull=1#post258456

arsenal qualified easily in a relatively easy group

as usual, the teams from manchester, who dominate the premiere league, looked unimpressive in champions league, especially their defence, while in premiere league manchester city have the least goals scored against them!
at this point, i stoped trying to understand premiere league, i have to accept that they just play very differently than in the other leagues
but in champions league you get punished if you have a bad defence because there are many brazilian players on the smaller teams who will score against you, and ofcourse there are the top teams from the other leagues who have top players and come prepared

the darkening russian clubs are all out, and zenith's case is the most interesting
last year they qualified and lost narrowly to benfica
this season they bought 2 non-white "stars" (witsel especiall is so over rated), which caused many problems, and their team exploded: http://www.castefootball.us/forums/...tios-2012-2013?p=258744&viewfull=1#post258744

here is hulk not happy at all with being in zenith, refusing to shake the coach's hand:

121205084659-840-686.gif

the smaller teams (with less money) pretty much all qualified because of their brazilian or south american players (porto for example, or donetsk - they also have white defenders, a very dangerous team)
except celtic and galatasaray, who will be the weakest teams in the round of 16, and managed to kick benfica , cluj and braga out
braga and cluj had less south americans than before but still many
benfica were unlucky but credit goes to celtic for beating barcelona in that group

i remember this quote by jorge jesus, benfica's coach, from last year:

'The English league is a good league but compared with Spain, Germany and Italy it is not so good,' said Jesus.

'In Spain, Germany and Italy there is a big technical and tactical input in every match.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ted-poor-premier-league-says-jorge-jesus.html

here's an example from the lateste bnfica mtch in champions league:

messi has the ball:

1.jpg

then look at how well the benfica players move toput all the barcelona players offside (in this situation messi likes to pass the ball on the other side)
2.jpg

3.jpg

compare it with this quote from the "french" player mbia, who moved to premiere league this year:

On QPR’s tactics, Mbia said: “There is only *playing and very little tactics. We don’t *really train in the week, we have rest days, but we haven’t the right to mess up on match days.â€￾

Mbia's comments don't surprise me. Gianluca Vialli also said he was struck by what little interest English teams had in tactics. The British approach football with their hearts, not their brains. That's not an entirely bad thing - after all it is just a sport - but they take it too far. I know from personal experience discussing football with English, Scottish, and Irish fans that if you get too much into tactical talk they will start laughing.

BTW Mbia is not far off in that Daily Mirror article as there is a team in Scotland called Queen's Park FC, though everyone just calls them "Queen's".

I was glad to see these darkening Russian teams eliminating. Russia is the last country to embrace multiculturalism so let's hope they learn some lessons.

OTOH I was annoyed to see Celtic go through. I'm not a fan of Benfica but I don't like Celtic, especially their manager. I credit them for playing well against Barcelona but ultimately they went through, and Benfica went out, due to a soft penalty thanks to a dive by the Greek Samaras from an ill considered challenge from the Russian Marek Suchy.

Mbia is stupid if he thought he was going to a Scottish club. His agent didn't tell him? Judging by QPR's record maybe Hughes was right about Mbia.

Just because Hughes doesn't have tactics that doesn't mean other teams don't.

Also, what is the English league?Chelsea and Arsenal haven't had a British manager in years. Fergie has done well and Mancini,a foreigner with many foreign players, has under performed in Europe, although they were in a tough group. Mancini won Serie A with Inter but didn't equal that in the CL. I don't think the got past the final 8 a couple times they were knocked out in the final 15 while winning Seria A. It's the same pattern.

Rednapp did ok by beating AC Milan in the final 16 with Tottenham.

German teams haven't won it in over 10 years and Bayern got lucky against Man U in the semis a few years ago when Rafael got a 2nd yellow at midfield that probably cost Man U the victor

Dortmund win the German league the last 2 years, but couldn't even make it out the group stages in the Europa League the same year they won the German league. The also didn't make it out the group stages of the CL last year. Their record is poor in Europe, but they won their own league. We'll see how far they advance this year.

They do have a mostly German team. I don't know how many of their Germans aren't really German though. It can't bee too many. They do have one player with a German mother and a Nigerian father--surprise, surprise.
I might root for them. We'll see what Arsenal puts on the field in the final 16.

in the rest of the quote, the portuguese coach says that manchester united is the exeption, that they are not like the rest of the english teams
but the interview was before his team played a champions league match against manchester united, so maybe he said that so he wouldn't look foolish after a defeat

today i watched manchester united vs manchester city
there were great players on both teams
but look at the winning goal, what is nasri doing in the wall? it looks like they never trained for this kind of situation
in such an important match giving away a crucial goal on something as dumb as this is a shame
i'm not too much into tactics, i think that the tactics in soccer are way overrated (i know for a fact that most of the best coaches today no longer spend hours on the tactics like they used to do in italy), but the english clubs don't take this part of the game seriously enough

German teams haven't won it in over 10 years and Bayern got lucky against Man U in the semis a few years ago when Rafael got a 2nd yellow at midfield that probably cost Man U the victor

when i started watching champions league, the german club (bayern munchen) was so dangerous
now they no longer have the right mentality ( http://www.castefootball.us/forums/...on-Tournaments?p=261860&viewfull=1#post261860 )
so i don't expect a german club to win champions league in the near future
if bayern munchen couldn't win it against chelsea's B team last year they won't win it this year either
the german could learn some things from the english clubs in this department (the "fighting spirit")

We'll see what Arsenal puts on the field in the final 16.

i have heard some things that would make me believe that arsenal is going to focus on champions league this year, i have said it already
i think that they will go with 3 central defenders in the thought champions league matches (koscielny, vermaelen, mertesacker) and i don't care about what everybody says about arsenal's defence, with these players they have what it takes to upset everybody in champions league like chelsea did last year
then they might have 2 black fullbacks (gibbs and sagna), and the rest will be 100% white except maybe oxlade chamberlain

Do they teach players to put up their foot and try to deflect the ball or not? Sometimes it works, but sometimes it deflects the ball away from the keeper. I guess most of the time deflecting the ball would work.

the problem was not that he deflected it, but that he ran away from the ball, so manchester city had no wall:

Samir Nasri would be advised not to show his face around Manchester City fans’ haunts for a few days after failing to show his face when it mattered most in this epic derby. Embarrassingly and expensively, Nasri hid behind the wall, opening space for Robin van Persie’s winning free-kick. Such key moments can unlock trophy cabinets.

City’s wall was initially a gang of four. Gareth Barry and Edin Dzeko, the taller players, protected Joe Hart’s near post. Then came Nasri and Carlos Tévez, who suddenly broke away from the wall, seemingly to follow Wayne Rooney. And then there were three.

With Tom Cruise looking on, Nasri decided to audition for Eyes Wide Shut. When Van Persie drove in his free-kick, Nasri slipped behind Dzeko, dangling out his left foot as his sole contribution to the resistance movement. In terms of keeping the wall intact, it was rather like replacing a foundation stone with an éclair. And then there were two and a half.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-City-2-Manchester-United-3-match-report.html

so if you're manchester city's coach, you would train for this kind of situations (and other situations), so that every player knows his role
that is a lack of attention to details
in france there was another derby the same day (saint etienne - lyon) and althought there are many black players the coaches are well aware the match was going to be decided on details

here are the results of the draw for the next round of champions league, to be played in february and march:

A-i8e9ACEAAkg3c.jpg:large

PSG can advance to the next round easily
real madrid can beat manchester united
AC milan will lose to barcelona and messi
malaga will beat porto, hopefully

and there are 2 very interesting matches:
*dortmund vs donetsk
dortmund is 99% white and donetsk 40% black but these are brazilians
it will be very dificult for dortmund to beat donetsk, but they can do it
i can't wait to see the second leg in dortmund, they might have the best fans in this champions league:

tifo-bvb-dotmund.jpg
tumblr_mej4o5KGdo1r28jbvo1_500.jpg

*and arsenal vs bayern munchen
nobody will expect arsenal to beat bayern, but they can do it
bayern's defence :yuck:

anyway we are now in the best part of champions league, enjoy it, until the final
there's nothing better than those 2 legged knock out matches

Hope ronaldo single-handedly crushes a Manu which is becoming blacker by the day:director:.But then again Manu is jewish owned,so what else can we expect?

And I think Arsenal vs. Bayern will be difficult to predict.
While Bayern have black defenders to weaken themselves,Arsenal are only a injury/suspension(to Podolski) away from fielding a front three of blacks! As it is,it is Cazorla who does ALL the work..
Walcott is being favoured to Giroud, that too at CF.
The problem is the (anti-white)UK press has everyone believe that Giroud is pants...
Look at this very disrespectful article about Huntelaar, one of the top five 'proper' CF's in the game today.Soemone who scored 29 goals in 34 league games last season(lest we forget that the German Bundesliga has only 18 teams, and therefore less fixtures).Supposedly not worth a 100,000-a-week:mad2:.

you're right, it won't be easy for arsenal
i forgot that bayern's idiotic black defender jerome boateng will be suspended for the 2 matches against arsenal because of a useless red card in a useless match for bayern

so that's 1 black clown less for bayern

really? giroud was injuried in the last match, that's why he didn't play

The problem is the (anti-white)UK press has everyone believe that Giroud is pants...

if they don't want him anymore we can take him back and give them gomis or some adebayor-like clown
there's one at monaco who's getting compared with adebayor, i don't remember his name, touré or something, when monaco will play champions league again they'll need a world class striker so maybe a premiere league club will want this bum?
giroud's start was very good at arsenal considering that it was his first champions league
he had 1 goal and 4 assists in 275 minutes overall in champions league
but i know that he can do better

in france, giroud is now respected because he scores with arsenal and with the national team (his goal against spain 1 minute after coming in :icon_cool: )

huntelaar can stay in this club, they have a better record in champions league than most english clubs over the last few years anyway

Last year's version of Milan gave Barca a scare at the Nou Camp when they equalised in the first half (first leg was 0-0) and were in position to qualify if they didn't concede any second half goals. It's extremely unlikely that this year's Milan will come anywhere close to pulling off an upset.

The best match-up is Man United v Real Madrid. Given that Madrid are unlikely to be contesting for the Spanish championship they'll be able to concentrate on UEFA - for example resting top players before each leg.

True,Giroud was injured, but speculation is rife that Walcott will finally be given a run in the team,at CF.
There is also the contractual angle in this, with Walcott stating that his primary reason for leaving would be to play more in his "preferred" position,as a lone striker.
Also Wenger has personally said that he has seen enough in Walcott(in training) to give him a run of games there.
Next time I see a link to any such article,I will link it.

I predict a thrashing for the jew's team.Hopefully they will be given a lesson in football by Ronaldo,Alonso, the two truly world class players that Real possess.Hopefully it will be Higuain instead of Benzema, against Manu.

many people overlook the importance of being able to concentrate on champions league
it's not only about resting the top players, but also about preparing the match for months

Real Madrid vs. Man United should be an absolute thriller…I have the feeling that Ronaldo will underperform against his former club, as he still feels a strong attachment to it and he will be under a lot of pressure due to the comparisons with Messi (though to his credit he has never tried to downplay the Argentine’s achievements). The Madrid team will be desperate to eliminate the “Red Devilsâ€, as Barcelona have almost wrapped up the Spanish La Liga (Villanova has done a great job as a successor to Guardiola). Man United have the mental toughness to prevail in such a match, but I like Real Madrid and hope they will manage to rediscover their form.

PSG should be able to get past Valencia…the Spaniards impressed me during the group stage, but their key players like Soldado, Albelda and Feghouli could be neutralized by the competent defense of the Parisians…Valencia are also prone to mental lapses, I would say that Valencia footballers (relative to those of other major clubs) are like red card magnets. If Ibrahimovic keeps his cool and the PSG players follow Ancelotti’s game plan, they are likely to advance.

I agree that Arsenal vs. Bayern (Lucas Podolski will be really eager to prove himself against his former club, he tends to be underestimated when not on national team duty) and Donetsk vs. Dortmund are highly unpredictable matches.

Shame that Malaga were banned for three seasons, so this year will be their chance to make their mark, hope that they won’t feel overburdened with expectations against Porto.

More than Ronaldo,I am looking forward to Alonso ripping apart that weak link of Manu-its midfield.I hope Ozil does not play, because Alonso,Khedira and Modric will outun, outfight Manu in the midfield,me thinks.
Looking forward to some crunching tackles, from Alonso.Manu regularly rip open defenses in the English league,so I'd love to see them take on someone of their size.

Also from a couple of seasons these are the sources of 90%(my assumption) of Manu's goals:
  • Sheer pace on the counter-attack.
  • Bumbling confusion in the six yard box, leading to a scrappy/own goal.
  • Set-pieces.
  • Individual brilliance(mostly from Rooney).

Basically what I want to say is Manu are no longer a great team. They score a hell lot of scrappy goals as a result of sheer pace/persistence.They are good no doubt about it,but they will continue to get humiliated on the big European nights. This is because of the blackening of its team.

For example Manu's number one tactic includes giving the ball to Antonio Valencia(supposedly the best right winger in England-what a joke),ask him to run down the byline and put in a low hard cross at good pace, then hope that it gets a favourable ricochet and lands to a manu player,to score.

Case in point, the point the Manchester Derby:

  1. The first goal is scored after a very fast transition on the counter-attack,which originated from a corner. When the ball finally comes to Rooney,he scores from a scrappy, scrappy finish.
  2. The second goal was due to Silva not being able to stay with his man. Also Kolo Toure is marking thin air in the middle of the box, instead of
  3. The third goal is from a set-piece.Not only is it a set-piece goal, but it is also a very scrappy goal.

And I know you make your own luck, but that above, has been Manu for a good seasons now.Even their "Goal of the century",that goal from an overhead kick from Rooney in the Manchester Derby was a fluke. Not only does the cross loop up favorably after a deflection, but Rooney shins it,to send it in the top corner!

Bottom line is,I think Manu will continue to get humiliated in Europe.
Phew!

ofcourse it has to happen to one of my favourite teams
i hope that they can change the ban
what are they suposed to do? buy marketing players so that they get a lot of money from the "new markets?"
real madrid has been doing this with benzema, to avoid ban like this one, but they are also less competitive than they should be because of this

champions league starts again in 2 days

here you can see the schedule:

http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2013/matches/index.html

the matches played on 12/13th of february will be celtic/juventus, valencia/PSG, donetsk/dortmund and real madrid/manchester united

celtic/juventus, i don't really like any of those teams, both are realtively white, juventus should be the better team but they hype the black french player pogba as the "next pirlo" so if they could lose i wouldn't matter - i guess that there will be a great atmosphere in glasgow

valencia/PSG i like PSG better, let's see what starting 11 PSG will come up with

donetsk/dortmund, obviously rooting for dortmund but beating the brazilians playing for donetsk won't be easy

real madrid/manchester united: this is the most unpredictable match
i don't know much about manchester united, they don't impress me, and real madrid depends so much of cristiano ronaldo, who seems to be in great shape right now
real madrid's defense is not good, and the over-rated arabs who have no talent like benzema or khedira won't be of any help
again, the starting 11 can change a lot for real madrid, so let's see what team will mourinho come up with

cristiano ronaldo's latest match with real madrid: he scored 3 goals including this one:

ibvB5rbfFPhgud.gif

benzema scored the uglieest goal of the season, it's closer to a miss than it is to a goal, that's the best way i can describe it
it was "the beauty and the beast"

"WAs that his six inch goal?"

yes, but the distance is not the only thing about this goal
first, he gets the ball in an easy position, ready to score, on his right foot, from ronaldo's pass, it should have been an easy tap-in
but he missed the ball - that's what he does best : http://youtu.be/jQu5kzhcS5U
then the ball had a rebound on a defender who was behind benzema, the ball was about to cross the line (it would have been an owngoal) but benzema happened to be on the ball's path - he stopped the ball inadvertedly, and once he noticed that he had stopped the ball, he tapped it in from 6 inches, 5 inches, maybe even less

i'm not kidding, that might be the ugliest goal i ever saw: http://youtu.be/IoBxzLMSLSw

here's a french article about the goals of this match: http://www.videos-2-buzz.fr/Video-R...-but-de-Ronaldo-resume-du-match-art-4029.html

"an ugly goal for benzema, a superb one for ronaldo"
"benzema scored the ugliest goal in his career"

:icon_lol:
i love monitoring this player, it's so much fun :azn:
