Steve Koehnemann is now a sophmore at Arizona State University. In h.s. in AZ,he was almost unbeatable over
both 100 and 200 meters. He was the state champ and ran
one of the fastest times ever for az high school. His
dad was a sprinter back in the 1960's.Steve last year
as a freshman ran the 4th fastest 60 meters in ASU
history. They wanted to redshirt him but he is too talented! He also had success outdoors as ASU had one of
the fastest 4 x 100 teams in the nation.They have a few
white sprinters.I see something special in this kid.He
already ran a 10.39 last season as a freshman! That is
very rare for someone that young. If he stays healthy,he
could be another Dusty Stamer.Watch out for the ASU
Sun Devil in 2005!

If he has a good drop in times this season, we'll see how serious his coaches are in developing him. Or if they'll toe the party line and begin to ignore him, you know the story.
