All white team led by RB Rob Lombardo, who rushed for 1,276 yards and 19 TDs last season,
returns, as does leading receiver Dylan Haas. QB Erik Zmuidins will
likely take over the starting position. LB Lombardo also had 100
tackles and 7 sacks on defense. Lombardo who is one of the best offensive and defensive players in section 1.

But this guy Has special talent. Matt Deiana has been on varsity since he was an eight grader. As a freshman,
he had 97 carries for 663 yards and eight touchdowns. He also caught
five passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns. He had 11 kick returns
for 317 yards, 16 tackles and an interception.


As a sophomore, he carried 80 times for 702 yards and three
touchdowns. He also caught two balls for 16 yards. On defense, he
registered 42 tackles, five pass deflections and had a kick return for
39 yards. He played the entire season with knee and ankle injuries and
missed the final two games with a broken collarbone.


Deiana benches 355 pounds and recently did 27 reps of 185 pounds at the
Blue-Grey Classic Combine. He has a 32-inch vertical leap.
