Steve Sailer is talking about QB's with some other guys Malcolm Gladwell and Steve Pinker, fairly well read columinsts; on the issue of "is the position a quarterback is taken in the college draft a reliable indicator of his performance as a professional?"

Lots of number crunching and stat analysing in the back and forth. I thought the discussion may be of some interest to the sports junkies here.

One thing we all know here and that I did not see anywhere in their writings: some black QB's get drafted WAAAAAAY above the actual spot that they should be selected and turn out to be monumental busts. That fact alone should wreck up any serious analying of the draft position for QB's. I'm surprised Sailer didn't even at least mention it since he has pointed out the sucky performance of black QB's before.

you will have to scroll down a little to find it.
