This kid is a beast. He's 6'4 263 pounds and can bench over 500 pounds! He moves well and is rumored to run around a 4.6. Like most white DE's he's the total package. Not only does he have the skills athletically, but this guy goes balls to the walls and gives his maximum effort every play. So far he has 6 1\2 tackles and 2 sacks through two games. He was seen as a 3rd round pick last year as a JR. After this year he should be a lock for the 2nd round.

An article on Kerrigan. One can read "between the lines" and see the CAste System...

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/story/13998411/boilermakers-kerrigan-bubbling-up-boards-at-de

As the college football calendar turns to Week 4 of the 2010 season, Kerrigan is currently NFLDraftScout.com's fifth-rated senior defensive end behind, in order, Ohio State's Cameron Heyward, Iowa's Adrian Clayborn, Allen Bailey of Miami (Fla.) and Mississippi State's Pernell McPhee. It won't be long until Kerrigan breaks into NDS' top three at his position, as through three weeks he leads the aforementioned group in every major statistical category: tackles (24), tackles for loss (8.5) and sacks (3).

Kerrigan received a third-round grade from the NFL Draft Advisory Board after the 2009 season. He understands that scouts look at more than just a player's statistics when they project them to the next level. (yeah, their skin color.)

How is "Mr Tubby" Cameron Hayward rated so high? If I recall correctly, Adrian Clayborn is also carrying a sizable gut.

These fat "athletes" are going to get even fatter, and that means knee problems...

Kerrigan is a beast. Scouts are really starting to take notice and I've seen articles saying he is rated as a 2nd round pick. Hopefully he can continue to dominate in Big Ten play and earn himself a spot in the first round!!

Kerrigan needed a big game, and he got it against Michigan... 10 solo tackles and 4 sacks!

He now has 12 sacks this season!

Incredible. I note that the "guru of gurus" Scott Wright has Kerrigan at number 14. It's getting mighty nippy down in hell right now.

Word is begining to spread fast on College Football's Top Defensive Player...Kerrigan has a bright future! Some things are unavoidable for the dwf's! He & JJ Watt should battle for Big 10 Defensive MVP...they did have to throw one caste-statement in the article.

<H1 =storyhdl>Only thing Purdue's Kerrigan lacks is recognition</H1>

The latest injustice came Wednesday when the best defensive player in America was left off the finalist list for the Nagurski Award -- which recognizes the best defensive player in America. Purdue defensive end Ryan Kerrigan is getting used to it. He didn't make it as a Lombardi Award (best lineman in the country) finalist either.

There are as many slights ahead as possible honors. It's not because the Boilermakers senior isn't good enough. Lord knows, that's not the case. There's a formula to these things. It helps to play for a winning team. It helps a lot to play for a winning team. Only one of the seven schools represented by the combined Lombardi-Nagurski finalists has a losing record. Four of them are on ranked teams. Twenty-three of the 25 players on last year's Football Writers Association of America All-America team were on winning teams. Purdue isn't one this year.

Kerrigan is now the third ranked defensive end, according to Cbs sports. His stock has risen and he should go in the first round. After that though, the next white defensive end is Ricky Elmore at number 13. I'm hoping at least five white defensive ends (Kerrigan, Elmore, Winterswyk, Laptad, and Klug) are drafted this year.

#94 Ryan Kerrigan - He is Superman. Kerrigan will leave Purdue as possibly the greatest defensive player in our history. Should he get two sacks against the Hoosiers on Saturday, he will have the school record for sacks. If he gets one forced fumble he will have more forced fumbles than anyone who has ever played major college football. He should win Defensive Player of the Year in the Big Ten despite being held and double-teamed for most of the season. It is a travesty that he did not make the finalist list for the Bednarik and Lombardi Awards. He has the potential to be a top 10 pick in April's NFL draft, which I think would make him the highest drafted player ever from Purdue. Just imagine what he can do next year when people aren't double-teaming him and holding him.

Yeah, the finalists for the Bednarik award are DaQuan Bowers, Nick (Un)fairley and the LSU cornerback.

As for the "Win-loss" argument, Clemson doesn't have a great record... the media is just "fascinated" with Clemson's yearly coal-black defense(s).

J.J. Watt has been consistent all season (and Wisconsin has an excellent Win-loss record), but his numerous "signature" moments (alone) in "THE GAME" against Ohio State should have vaulted him into a finalist. He exposed "the #1 recruit in the country, Pryor!" Not a bad accomplishment for someone that's "slow" and "tight-hipped!"

A quick analysis: The ACC is a yawnfest, and full of inconsistent teams. The Big 10 has produced some damn good ball this season and it has impressed me. J.J. Watt is simply a natural, and he has dominated opponents on the Big Stage. The epitome of a disruptive force... he's bigger, stronger and more agile than most of the "hyped" bruthas.

Truth is, if it wasn't Bowers and (un)fairley as Finalists, it would be morbidly-obese Marcell Dareus (Alabama) and Drake Nevis (LSU). "Anybody" except a Whitey...

And there's this Jared Crick "guy" -- too....

Hopefully this doesn't happen. If it does Kerrigan will be doomed and have to serve a long racial apprenticeship on Raheem's "Dream Team."

Buccaneers GM Mark Dominik made it clear that he's going to target a defensive end early in this year's draft.
<div ="s_pNewsTextMain">
Bucs scouts have been targeting this year's draft crop for two seasons.
Dominik explained that defensive end wasn't as much of a priority last
year because this was going to be such a strong year for the position.
Purdue's Ryan Kerrigan and Cal's Cameron Jordan should appeal to the
Bucs in the first round.

Idk I think Kerrigan may be talented enough to be the lone white defender of the team kinda like Urlacher is for the Bears. I havea feeling he's going to tear up the 40 at the comibine and he's a great all around player to match it.
