Former IBF light middleweight champion Roman Karmazin (39-3-1, 25 KOs) decked Brazilian journeyman Luiz Augusto Dos Santos (24-16, 20 KOs) after the powerful multi-punch combination in the fourth round. Dos Santos' cornermen immediately threw in a towel to prevent their man from the further punishment. Karmazin, who is ranked #5 by the IBF and #7 by the WBC, scored his third straight victory as a middleweight.

Roman Karmazin vs Dionesio Miranda coming up in an hour or two on ESPN Friday Night fights.

It will be good to see some live boxing again - there hasn't really been any since Dec 19.

I'm hoping to see Andrey Fedosov 20-1(16) tonight. Hopefully his fight will get televised.

If Karmazin wins tonight he'll get a shot at Sylvester. I give Roman a decent shot at dethroning Sylvester.

Boxing has been dead for a while now. Robert Stieglitz and Denis Boystov are in action tomorrow though. Also Vanes Martirosyan, an Armenian who fights out of Glendale California will fight next weekend. I haven't heard of him until now but he's an undefeated light middleweight at 26-0. Boxrec has him ranked 13th in the world. He could be one to watch. The fight will be on FOX.

Here in Glendale watching the Karmanzin card. That was a pretty good "exhibition" performance by young Russian prospect Fedosov. He show good power and snap in his punches against once fringe contender/now washed up affelet.

To give CFers an idea of the crowd, its a stylish mix of American whites and Armenians. There is a sprinkling of latinos amd blacks. Just FYI there is a not so secret alliance with the Russian Mafia and Armenian crime lords. I see some of those in the about the crowd.

Roman goes down from big right. But Miranda couldn't finish him. I think Roman is growing and looking old before my eyes.

What a courageous and crafty win for Roman. I am surrounded by people yelling in Russian and Armenian.

I took a look at the affelet kindred and saw the looong faces.LOL

Anyways great win. Roman earns another big payday against a middleweight champ. I am afraid his chin will betray him though.

I had Miranda up a round or two going into the 10th. At the end of round 10 I saw Miranda was getting tired and hoped that Roman who had superior technique would find the mark and he did. Wow.

How was Uncle Teddy's analysis?
