Roger Goodell's Impossible Task?

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has been trying to stop the criminality of NFL players by dealing out stricter penalties than before. The players are said to be unhappy about this. They call Goodell the "Hanging Judge." It doesn't seem to be doing much good. Is making "modern" pro football players behave an impossibility?

Nobody else has succeeded in making these types behave. He's just one guy, with so many children to look after.

Crimes committed by NFL players have seemingly increased during the reign of "Mr. Hard-Ass."Â￾

However, at the very least, he's administered some decent suspensions to the most odious of millionaire-criminals (especially the "evil"Â￾ ringleader, the uncharged and never convicted Ben Roethlisburger).

The same cannot be said for Paul TagliaButt, who never seemed to suspend anyone, for any reason, ever.Edited by: Thrashen

It will be interesting to see if Goodell punishes Convick at all. Even though at this point he hasn't been charged in a crime he was supposedly involved in some kind of confrontation. Let's see how the double standard applies.

If you are convicted of any felony, you are banned for life from the NFL. That is all you have to do.
