Robb Merritt

Tob Merritt of the Minnesota Golden Gophers almost won
the Big Ten Indoor Championship in the 60 meters.After
a slow start he closed quickly on the field.He got all
the way back to 2nd and could have taken the lead with
only 5 more meters.Congrats to him anyway for taking
2nd in the Finals with a time of 6.78 Robb had to fight
though the Preliminary Round and then the Semi Final
Round just to make the finals.He was outstanding and
should be very proud to take the silver.Watch out for
him this season.

White Lightning, great job of keeping us informed about the great white sprinters, both here and abroad. It's very encouraging to know there are so many out there now. We need for more of them to break through like Jeremy Wariner did last year and really shake things up!

I thought Robb Merritt was black.Boy,that's a nice surprise that he's white.I love finding out when an athlete is white when you assume that he's black.
