Wow bro. You read my mind. I was flipping through the channels last night and unfortunately this movie was on (I think it was on TBS or TNT). I was going to post a thread entitled "Most disgraceful, leftist, race-mixing movie ever made", but I see you beat me to it. lol. Its typical of this whole "we are the world" attitude that the liberals and Commies want. The only thing that I was actually happy to see, was the fact that the White kids fought back against black bullsh*t, at least in the first half of the movie they did. But hollywood is just so out of touch with how things really are between the races, that its disgraceful. I mean come on, do you really think that if a White player were paralyzed from the waist down in an accident, that his black teammates would really care? Please. They'd actually be happy so one of their homeboys could take his starting position. What pissed me off even more, was that fat White kid who sided with the blacks from the beginning. The funny thing about him (Ethan Suplee) is, he played the role of a skinhead gang-member in the movie "American History X"...lol...Now thats irony if I've ever seen it.

If my father were the White coach of that team, and he was asked to "step down" so a black coach could replace him, his reaction would be something like this...."Oh, I'll hand the job over...when you pry the playbook from my cold, dead, hands."

"Bring It On" is somewhat racially offensive towards Whites, but nowhere near as bad in comparason to "Remember the Titans". "Bring It On" is just a stupid move as a whole, more than it is an attack onWhitey. However, it is loaded with hot chicks, so at least it makes for a pleasant viewing experience. Eliza Dushku is smokin HOT in this movie, by the way. For those of you who don't know who she is, check her out. She's one of the hottest White actresses in existence. Very sexy.

There was a scene in Mississippi Burning where some whites take a negro for a wild ride and when done with him, throw him out of the car.

i never really found that this movie was quite as bad as you all seem to think it is..i thought they actually did portray several whites in a positive light such as the linebacker (who they describe as one of the best highschool players ever) and sunshine who while flamboyant as well was quite clearly the most talented offensive player on the team and probably the most athletic

Checked the stats on T.C. Williams H.S. now and half-expected it to be a slum institution. Approximately 50% Black, 25% White, 24% Hispanic, and 8% Asian (more than 100%, but I'm quoting from memory).

They give each student a free laptop. Has online SAT practice exams. Seems to draw from wide economic range. Fair number of AP courses (would like to see the makeup of the AP classes, White and Asian I suspect). Still has good track teams. Pride of Alexandria. Only public hs because Alexandria's other hs is a 'governor's school' (whatever that is).

Reminds me of Long Beach Poly HS. Would be a ghetto school (and is certainly located in a ghetto) but is a showcase for the district, so in essence has a school within a school. One school has strong academics, with the White and Asian students participating in tennis and golf and volleyball and academic clubs. The other school is remedial with the Black and Hispanic students playing football and basketball. The benighted Asians, such as Cambodians, are remedial but don't participate in sports.

Security is very big with these type of arrangements. Otherwise you lose the Whites and the non-cliqued up Asians to private schools (and Lakewood HS). One advantage to Whites and Asians is their graduating class rank is almost by default in the top 25%. 'And the HS I attended was among the most diverse in the world so I'm well versed in the challenges and opportunities presented by a multicultural environment which is why I should be admitted to UCSB/Berkeley/Stanford.'

Very expensive little scam. Nothing has really changed. So what's the point?

BTW, just a happy tidbit for Black History Month. Lonnie Johnson 'invented' the Super Soaker water gun. Which shows to go you what we would be without otherwise. Or am I all wet?&n bsp;

It has been so long since I watched it I barely remember the scene you are speaking of, but I seriously doubt whether anything like that happened during the time around that particular event. As for something like it happening at all, I imagine it did, but very rarely. Even in the days when we are told lynchings were "common" they were not all that frequent in Mississippi, and whites were in the nooses almost as often as blacks. Things like the murder of those 3 agitators were almost unique by the 50s and 60s. In fact, that (1964) was the last such murder in Mississippi. A lot of people don't realize that Mississippi was a majority black state until the 1940s. Right now its about 38% black, the highest percentage in the nation. Since the late 60s, black on white crime has continuously increased in most Mississippi cities.

Mississippi burning is historical fiction. The three activists were killed and their bodies found in a swamp in the state. As for the details of the killing it's not known. I do know that somebody was recently convicted of this crime. He was either a former Klan member or an aging active member. The FBI knew who the suspects were for years but they didn't have enough evidence for a conviction. The case might have broke with DNA evidence.

The British were outnumbered 20 to 1 and the Zulus just defeated another British force. A large number of won the victora cross for their bravery. Michael Caine stars in it.
