The decathlon starts tonight. Many great white men will be in contention to be named "The World's Greatest Athlete". I'm hoping for Sebrle, Pappas, and Hardee to sweep. Karpov could also be in the mix. Bryan Clay is probably the only non-white with a chance at a medal.Edited by: SteveB

Trey once again showed his weakness, the shot put. He finished in 30th place in the event. Sebrle is in 10th and it looks like Pappas and Karpov may have dropped out after the long jump.Edited by: SteveB

Congratulations to him. To be accurate, however, Bryan Clay is only half black, as he is also half Japanese. This will likely not be acknowledged however, either by the media or general public, because of people's preconceived and racist notion that being even partially black precludes being part ANYTHING else (See Tiger Woods, Jason Kidd, Mike Bibby, James Blake, et al).

I'm surpised nobody posted anything here. Roman Cebrle is probably the most athletic human being to ever live. If he were black, everybody would know him and the "greatness" he brings to the sport. To do that amount of events all at a semi pro level is just so amazing. How the heck can you train for all those events?
