his answer to evra's accusation
"I'm upset by the acusations of racism. I can only say that I have always respected and respect everybody. We are all the same. I go to the field with the maximum illusion of a little child who enjoys what he does, not to create conflicts."

also, suarez probably spoke in spanish, and negro is not as insulting in spanish

everybody says that henry's red card was "controversial", but it really shows how vile henry is

you can see that henry saw he was going in the direction of the player, he is old, but still able to see
so he did it on purpose
he was upset because he was not able to get the ball, and he was probably having a frustrating match
henry did the same in the 2002 world cup, against uruguay, where he was bad, and lost his nerves

at the very begining of the video:

about the evra-suarez story, it looks like the english football federation concluded that suarez really insulted evra with racial terms
so suarez's career is over in premier league
do any follower of premier league know more about this?

http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/NewsAndFeatures/2011/suarez-161111

also, for the english "mates", terry did the same to ferdinand's brother recently
a friend who grew up in england told me terry was a gipsy, and that it was very well known in england
is this true? he doesn't look very anglo saxon
i can't find anything on the internet about this

frederic - While many may often refer to John Terry as a "gypo" or "pikey" (i.e. Irish Traveller), this is due to the patently boorish behaviour exhibited by both himself and his family and there is no evidence (as far as I know) that he is of gypsy or "traveller" stock. As for his appearance, Terry is simply ugly...

Terry and his family are - like many footballers of, let's be perfectly honest, any colour - low class, unintelligent, uneducated scum whose natural tendency for drunken and uncouth antics is exacerbated by the spending power and subsequent "status" which astronomical "wages" afford them, a perfect case of simple human trash becoming haughty human trash following an injection of money. For instance, Terry's father has been caught selling cocaine, his mother has been caught shoplifting, while his elder brother Paul (who is a Conference League player) mirrored his younger sibling's modus operandi in the Wayne Bridge affair by sleeping with a teammate's wife (the ex-teammate hanged himself out of grief after the affair came to light...). If it wasn't for football these grubs would all be in the gutter where they belong...

That being said, there may very well be a fairly obvious subtext to the Terry-Anton Ferdinand story that is conveniently being omitted by observers, namely - if Terry is charged by the F.A. he shall have to step down as England captain. This would, of course, pave the way for Anton Ferdinand's brother and current vice-captain Rio to claim the coveted armband just in time for EURO 2012. Nice, isn't it?

thanks for the answer

unfortunately in soccer very few players are educated
ribery is the equivelent in france, uneducated, has that arab slang, and is a mslim convert

that's why forlan is so refreshing, he is educated

about terry: in france i read an article that said all the english national team showed they were with terry on this one
but i wonder what rio ferdinand has to say

about suarez, this is speculation, but if his career in england is really over, inter will try to sell milito in december, maybe they can take suarez
i think it won't be a bad thing for liverpool, bellamy is more suited for the premier league than suarez

It's raining racism allegations.Suarez, fabregas, van der heiden. With in the last 2 the case that the black player didn't even said it was racism. But the media thinks becuase race is on a pedestal in black culture which you can hear in rap and black comedy and all the countless tribes that fight in sub sahara africa becuase they look slighly different in contrast to europe where the tribes mixed heavily for thousands of years with just the more close to a certain area the more % particulir tribe ancestry.

About evra: the dont know if suarez said something racist becuase the fifa say fague things like he is suspected of insulting Evra his race or ancestry/ background. So they couldn't see with all the camera's the racist word he is using.

becuase of all the racismphila you can probaly the best when a black player insults you shut your mouth completely becuase when the black player says he was insulted the medias concluting is then because he is ******* and race is so important for most of them the other player have to has said something non positive about the black race.It is not even the blacks fault always, the just use the media's racismphilia for white against black to thier advantage( even compliments are racist for example Berlusconis compliment on Obama's skin colour). Also I know good black that hate it.
Also sometimes the black player falsely accuse the other to ruin his career or has the mental ilness 'acting victum addiction', Which is said to be related to sickle cell.

It's sad that England still has to care what Rio Ferdinand thinks as despite being in decline he is still in the England squad - though he didn't start last week. This season he's been showing his age. He's definitely lost some pace. It'll be interesting to see if he's in Ukraine/Poland as a starter.

There may be some truth to this but blacks see it is to their advantage to make these accusations. Back in the old days when there really was mistreatment of blacks they rarely ever complained because they knew whites were strong and thus didn't care about black victimhood. Now they scream racism constantly because they smell white weakness. It's like mass immigration into the West. The immigrants themselves are not to blame but our own ruling class for providing incentives for them and their supporters whilst punishing those opposed to immigration.

i believe suarez insulted evra
suarez said he never insulted evra, now he says the name he called him was non racist, but affective (if he called him mono for example, wich means monkey in spanish, it is the nickname of maxi perreira, a good friend of suarez)

fabregas is suposed to have insulted kanouté
and villa insulted ozil (he said something about his religion)
don't know about these, but i definitely know that marcelo wasn't lying when he said that busquets called him "mono"

as an argentine commentator said when maxi lopez insulted a brazilian player of "macaco" , monkey in portuguese, if you are not ashamed of being black, it shouldn't hurt you
i have been insulted by blacks multiple times while playing soccer, and i am proud of being white so it doesn't matter to me

the conclusion, by maxi lopez: after all, it's only soccer:

Gus Poyet accuses Evra of "crying like a baby" over all this.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/nov/17/gus-poyet-luis-suarez-racism

a former great player
he played in my city , probably because his father's family comes from here
the only good player we ever had, with djorkaeff, the armenian, born near grenoble

it's great to see he is loyal and takes risks to defend a friend

http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...42/exclusive-poyet-luis-suarez-100-not-racist

"I played with a player, and nobody knew him as Fernando Cáceres. Everyone knows him worldwide as Negro Caceres – even in the newspapers and on television they all him that. Is that racist? In England it is but in the rest of the world, in South America or Spain, it’s not. Because I read that 100 times in newspapers and I listen to TV programmes calling Fernando, a good friend of mine, Negro Caceres. I understand people in this country and I changed my way of behaving, but Luis has been in this country just a few months."

also, about terry:

I doubt that any of these players will be fined or suspended (unless it's a very blatant case of racism), as cultural factors come into play (there may simply be no malicious intent behind some of the words) and lip reading is not an exact science, so it's very difficult to prove anything one way or the other. One could probably make the case that threats of physical harm and insults directed at family members of players are more hurtful than xenophobic or racial remarks (though of course racial slurs could be calculated to cause grave offense).

It seems as if trash-talking tends to be less prevalent in soccer than in basketball and hockey, but I may be wrong here.

I think that a number of years ago US player Oguchi Onyewu actually filed a lawsuit against Belgian footballer Jelle van Damme...not sure what the final decision of the courts was, but the defendant's career doesn't appear to have been affected.

in south america, and also in italy and spain, it's very common, players insult themselves all the time
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odd2C2AAlHY&feature=related
suarez sould have put his hand over his mouth like raldes and messi

it's part of uruguayan soccer also

trying to impress the other team, make them lose their nerves

the problem is that suarez admitted he had insulted evra, so he might be suspended
i make a prediction: suarez will soon leave the english premier league because of this

Oh, I didn't catch that; then I would agree that Suarez could really land himself into hot water. However, Kenny Dalglish is likely to stick with him, as he is a very important player for their team. However, the Uruguyan may indeed decide to try his luck in a different league if the rival supporters continue to hound him.

Sep Blatter could also find himself in trouble, as he has allegedly downplayed the significance of some of the racism allegations:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/a...e-spotlight-just-begun.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

Haha, thanks for the video, it brought so many happy memories and also made me feel a bit nostalgic! :) The music was very well-chosen and I particularly enjoyed the faceoff between Barthez and the tall Uruguyan forward (Alvaro Recoba?).

I remember watching Dario Silva as a kid (in the early 2000s), he was loved by the Malaga supporters and was a very unconventional forward in a number of respects (he was not very tall, but was quite capable of heading the ball and his positional sense was quite good). Silva was quite entertaining and his partnership with Panamian Dely Valdes reaped many dividends for the team. Shame that Silva's career was cut short due to a car accident.

Yeah, trash talking is not uncommon in Balkan countries as well..it rarely escalates into physical confrontations, though.

sorondo is the name of the uruguayan, he still plays, in brazil, internacional porto alegre

i loved this match too, that's why i did a video about it ten years after

you remember dario silva from when he played in malaga? i think we are the same age
i remember the early 2000
i was still a real madrid fan
dely valdes.jpg

here is a magazine i bought at that time, while there was few internet, to know the teams of the spanish liga at the start of the season (now it's easier with wikipedia and the football related websites)
it's from 2000, and you can see dely valdes next to rivaldo , on the cover

dario silva-dely valdes was a good pair of strikers, not bad even compared to what malaga has now with their money coming from the arabs (an old van nistelrooy)

Oh yes, thanks, Gonzalo Sorondo. A physically imposing defender, he used to play in the Premier League (I recall that he once got into a fight with Peter Crouch).

Yes, I remember watching Eurosport and they frequently showed highlights from the Spanish and Portuguese leagues. For some reason Malaga always seemed to be involved in memorable encounters (and Silva was quite temperamental and frequently argued with the referees). I am 25 years old, btw, so I am guessing that we are almost the same age. I seemed to be drawn to small teams from the Western European leagues (like Málaga CF, UD Las Palmas, FC Mons, FC Metz, Ipswich Town F.C. and MSV Duisburg) for purely trivial reasons like the perception that their names were very historic-sounding. I also supported Eastern European clubs like Dynamo Kyiv and MFK Košice, as they always played with a lot of passion even when the odds were stacked against them and I generally enjoy cheering on the underdogs.
Real Madrid is a great choice; during the early 2000s they had many charismatic players in their ranks - Salgado, Raúl, Hierro, Morientes, Roberto Carlos, McManaman.

Thanks a lot for the scan, very cool magazine! Dely Valdes seems to be in good company, that's for sure! :) Yeah, I didn't have Internet at the time, was very much reliant on the TV coverage of matches.

I may be biased, but the late 1990s and early 2000s seemed like the glory days of association football to me (the 1998 World Cup produced many dramatic games and Euro 2000 was one of the best tournaments in terms of the technical quality shown by the teams and the number of nail-biting matches).

dario silva-dely valdes was a good pair of strikers, not bad even compared to what malaga has now with their money coming from the arabs (an old van nistelrooy)

That's right, Malaga have so far been unable to punch above their weight...Van Nistelrooy still has it in him and is still dangerous, but seems to have lost his killer intinct in front of goal (Euro 2012 may turn out to be his swan song). Many of their midfielders and defenders (Trochowski, Mathijsen) who were signed from Bundessliga clubs are finding it difficult to get used to the peculiarities of the La Liga.

yes, i'm 24
the competition that lost interest for me (but is still interesting nevertheless) is the champions league, mainly because the differences that once existed between the different countries tend to disappear
i remember seeing rosenborg, they were called the giant killers, and they had a really distinctive style
nowadays, everybody wants to play like spain
for example germany lost his identity for me
and even italian teams are in danger, AS roma for example is trained by the man who will certainly be barcelona's next coach, after guardiola: luis enrique
so he buys spanish players (bojan the catalan, for example) and tries to play like barcelona
also eastern european teams loaded with brazilians doesn't help

Speaking of Bojan he had about three bad misses against Lecce on Sunday night. He was (rightly) substituted.

lets face it: bojan, and every catalan player from barcelona, play because they are catalan
same for oleguer before them, and a lot others
it should be the same everywhere, local players should be favorised, and barcelona has been able to dominate european soccer because they had one of the best players, if not the best, messi, but also because they played very well collectively

i agree with deco's statement when he compared barcelona from when he played (the ronaldinho years) and the team of today:

"This Barcelona really play like a team and they have more quality overall than my Barca. However, looking at individual quality, we had more players who could make the difference"
http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3277...elona-had-more-star-players-than-current-team
(i love how every article mentionning this quote then put etoo in the players that could do the difference, i know deco wouldn't put ronaldinho and himself in the same category as etoo)

all this to say that if you take every barcelona player individually, they are not the best in the world, not even the best in europe, but they won a lot of titles because they played very well together, after all soccer is a team sport

bojan, even in barcelona, wasn't considered good enough, so no european top team should buy him
if AS roma wants to play like barcelona, they need to play with a combination of great south american players like taddei and others, and local players proud to represent their team
and when a local player happens to be one of the best in the world, like totti, it's the jackpot
but it won't happen every year, they have to be patient, and not take shortcuts like for example shaktar donetsk

Bojan was horrible. Roma however has a couple of really good players and could put together a winning team. Erik Lamela was great (he also had a terrible miss though), Pjanic is growing from match to match - Bosnia being one of the rare countries in Europe where you can still see kids playing soccer on the street (instead of the usual combination today of dad driving the boy to practice, then back home to his Playstation). Kjaer is also great. We'll see.

another racism scandal, in holland this time
http://www.ovaciondigital.com.uy/11...nacional/restan-polemica-por-racismo-en-ajax/

johan cruyff, the dutch living legend, involved with barcelona now, has been involved in a scandal
he said to edgar davids that he was a member of ajax's staff only because of his skin color (davids being black, of course)

cruyff said he was not racist, that he made this comment only because of ajax's efforts to scout talent born outside of holland (=non white) and to keep them in the club longer, since they tend to leave the club early
he said that because of this, frank riijkard, another black dutch, offered davids a place in advisory board

http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/football/6018395/Johan-Cruyff-hits-back-at-claims-of-racism

in my opinion, the most important thing here is that ajax are racially biased when it comes to scouting players

There isn't much impressive in Bojan's records..
His first goal was for the Giallorossi by scoring the opening goal against Atlanta on October..
He scored his 2nd goal against Milan. Roma lost that game 2:3. On October 5, he opened the scoring against Novara. Roma won 0:2.

a funny brazilian commercial
this is how brazilian mercenaries view europe

a guy asks neymar if he will play in europe
neymar thinks about europe, and tells "hum...right now is not the good moment"

it's caricatural, but i have to say i agree with him

you can see also that they view european as very rigid
the language is also a problem

this is why ronaldo for example only had brazilian girlfriends, despite living in europe for a very long time

brazilians playing in brazil is a good thing, but i think we will still have as many brazilian in european leagues, but less talented brazilians
the other thing that annoys me is the brazil will soon have to import players from other continents, and africans one day....
soon brazil will start having immigration problems like europe i think, unfortunately

Suarez convicted of racism. The FA has suspended him for 8 matches and fined him 40,000 pounds. England is now an even bigger joke than the US when it comes to anti-racism hysteria.

i saw this coming...
now he should leave, and maybe liverpool will buy lewandowski from dortmund
suarez should go to inter

in france we had another race-related incident
an arab player claimed that while showing him a red card, a referee called him "arab"
like an uruguayan said about the suarez case, what was he supposed to call him? "white dude"?
the referee said he said nothing, and it could be proven easily, since what referees say during a match is recorded

liverpool said that suarez has a black grandfather
that's what i thought, he looks very similar to abreu
Abreu.jpg

but what they call black can be 90% indian
for example abreu is suposed to be 50% black since his father is black, but i saw a picture of him with his father and his father looks more indian
suarez even has straight hair
how could someone mixed south-european and black have straight hair?
amerindians have straight hair

abreu's father:

I've been following this matter of so-called racism in European soccer for the last few months. Don't forget about English captain John Terry facing his own criminal charges of "racial abuse" in the coming weeks. This insanity is really off the charts, and the script is all to familiar. The evil whiteys are all racists, and need cultural education, on top of being fined and suspended, to be put in their place.

Whether it's sports, the economy, or socially, Europe is literally on a highway to hell, and it's all their own doing. By allowing cultural marxist/feminist vermin to be in charge of various aspects of their society, the Whites of Europe have been digging their own graves for years. I'm afraid we in the US are about 10-15 years behind in this department. I fully expect to see similar laws becoming the norm here, where you can be charged if you deny or simply say certain things, or "racially abuse" a precious non-White minority.

We're already there unofficially. If you say something that one of the protected groups finds offensive, you don't get charged with a crime per se, but unless you grovel, beg, and ask for all sorts of forgiveness, your life is essentially over.
