I notice Matt Jones is playing today? Did he win his suspension appeal or is the suspension going to be sometime in the future?

Gus Frerotte is playing well.

I still hear "jack-asses" in the media act like Tarvaris would give the Vikings a better chance.

I don't care if the Vikings miss the playoffs, but I want Gus to play well and win some games for them. Today's game ain't over yet... we'll see what happens.

it is still up in the air.

he just got some praise from announcers. they said something like: "it may look like he's not running fast, but that's because he's so tall (6'6") and covers a lot of ground with his steps, he's real fast on 40..."

PS David Anderson got a chance to do his Conan O'Brien string dance again after a short TD catch

Craig Steltz is finally playing today (china doll Mike Brown got injured again). Steltz has 3 tackles and just made a key interception in the endzone and made a long return too.

Arizona WR Jeremy Urban had a sweet 56 yard TD grab from the still amazing Kurt Warner.

well, to be honest it was all Urban, since Warner almost got intercepted and Jerhame had presence of mind and good hands to get it off a d-back bounce

Do you know what lineman he abused to get those sacks?

Duane Brown? Eric Winston?

Two more TD passes for Matt Ryan early in the second quarter. He may be the best rookie quarterback ever.

Can't find Steltz's interception in the bears-lions game video anywhere. Odd because NFL.com's video highlights have a lot of videos up but not the Steltz's endzone interception. anyone have a link thanks

Peyton Hillis has 3 catches for 50 yards in the first half, showing nice running ability (no surprise to any of us).

Wow, we have alot of young, white LBs doing really well this season. Greenway, Ruud, Bradley, Puz, Hawk, etc.

Another really strong position this season is TE. Especially young guys like Scheffler, Daniels, and Witten. These are probably the three best TE's in the NFL right now, and even most of the professional jock-sniffers agree.

Well, some of the more rigid caste trolls will still get an erection and scream: "Antonio Gates!" They used to say the same for perrenial fatso Alge Crumpler.

I consider alot of these athletic white tight ends receivers. In all reality they could have been receivers. Also it's almost halftime and Jamarcus Russell is 1 for 5 for 3 yards. What a star!Edited by: whiteathlete33

Very early in the 3rd quarter Hillis is 5/68. Let him run the ball too!

Jamarcus Russell is now 3 for 11 for 15 yards.Oakland also only has 23 yards rushing and it's almost the end of the 3rd quarter. What a horrible team. Brent Celek is having a huge game. 6 catches for 131 yards in the 3rd quarter!Edited by: whiteathlete33

Another star TE in the making is Brent Celek. Subbing today for injured turd L.J. Smith, Celek has been the main weapon for the Eagles with 5/116 so far.

  Still 11 minutes left.

and i didn't start him in my FF! Spencer Larsen was recently higher than him on a depth chart recent, so i don't think anyone could have seen it coming... i am so happy that Hillis is showing the doubters wrong. let's just hope this is one of many great games to come! and let him carry the ball too!

Greg Camarillo has 10/97 with 9:28 left in the 4th. He's far and away Chad Pennington's main target.
