One obscure correction -- Matt Steigenga won the McDonald's slam dunk
contest in 1988, so David Lee isn't the only white winner.

Fittingly, the only field goal of Matt's NBA career, with the Bulls in '97,
was a dunk!

thanks for the compliments, guys! sorry about the mis-information about the Mickey D's dunk thing, but in 1988 i wasn't old enough to think for myself or be aware of much more than catching the school bus.

Steigenga and I are from the same hometown, which is the only reason I
know that. He was a killer in high school, 6-7 stud athlete who dunked
everything, and at the time Grand Rapids hoops wasn't anywhere near as
good as it is now (two of the last three Mr. Basketballs, Drew Neitzel and
David Kool), so Matt thoroughly dominated.
