JOHN STONES has been given a torrid night by Daniel Sturridge, has faced Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero, and has shackled Harry Kane - but none of that quartet rate as his toughest opponent.
The
Everton and England defender, in an interview with Mundial, has revealed the Premier League player he rates as the hardest to handle - and he could still come face to face with him at Euro 2016.
Stones said: “I mean they (Aguero and Suarez) are great players, with unbelievable movement.
“But in all honesty, I’d have to say Olivier Giroud, you don’t realise how strong he is.
“When he gets close to you he can hold you off and his touch is brilliant.”
