I know it's been discussed in other forums, but I just have to say, I'm amazed at the grassroots explosion in Mixed Martial Arts. I cruised a site called Total Combat Entertaiment News and was amazed at the number of shows out there. This is a potentially great development for white kids.

It has more upside than boxing because of the non boxing gyms being in the suburbs. If you understand the game you will no that it is safer than boxing. The refs have a similar stoppage threshold to amateur boxing. Also you can win in so many more ways than boxing and don't need a specific bodytype to win.........
