Matt Cassel is a Patriots' backup quarterback who probably will take
Rohan Davey's job. He never got to play much at USC due to
Leinart and Palmer. He had a great game last night and looks like
a great athlete.

Cassel rushed for 46 yards. Newspapers described him as cheetah like and an efficient passer.

The awful Rohan Davey was cut by the Patriots today, which means Flutie and Cassel will be backing up Tom Brady. An obvious move, but probably not the easiest one to make given the racial realities of the NFL when it comes to pushing black QBs.

Hoorah for the Pats on that one. I have always thought fatso-Davey was over-rated since he replaced Josh Booty at LSU. The idiot fans down there thought he was god. I'm glad he's done. If the NFL was doing right, he wouldn't have even got a chance to play.
