Y'all might remember this guy from a post in the archives:

From the Michigan high school Rivals site, on the best running back in the state ...

RB Joe Glendening (East Grand Rapids) It's hard to imagine one high school football player doing more for his team than Joe Glendening. This kid was an absolute machine for the past three years, helping his team win three State Championships and tying the record for most career State Finals TDs with 11. For whatever reason, Joe has not gotten the recruiting attention he deserves, but he could be the next Jimmy Berezik (DeLaSalle RB from two years ago who is now starting for Grand Valley). Perhaps colleges would rather see him play defense, but this kid has done everything he's been asked and more. Any college coach unwilling to take a second look at Joe is making a mistake.

He ended up going to Hillsdale College, since outstanding white running backs are VERBOTEN from most D1 schools. At least he'll get a decent education. Here is his bio from the schools website. He's going to be the starter this year, so we might want to keep tabs on him.

Added: Here is a link to his dedicated thread on the High School stars forum.Edited by: FootballDad

When looking up stats just now, I thought someone had posted on Joe before. Last week, the Sophomore was second in Division 2 in rushing yardage, and third in rushing yards per game with 142.1. In 10 games he has 297 carries for 1,421 yards and 15 TDs. 4.78 YPC. He also has 20 catches for 171 yards and 3 KR for 54 yards.
