I just had to post this here. While western countries are striving to tackle global warming, the "smart" Indians are unaware that their scared cows are now one of the primary cause to global warming.
India's 283 million sacred cows contribute to global warming
There are roughly 485 million livestocks (including Sheep and Goats) in India. That's bigger than the entire populations of the USA, Canada, and Oceania combine, and 2/3's the size of Europe. They produce tons of dung which produce methane - a greenhouse gas that traps 20 times more heat than carbon dioxide.
You have to also keep in mind that India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh (plus China) have about 1/3 of the Earth's population. That's tons of methane producing dungs. Is birth control just for the West?Edited by: j41181
