In a 12 round firefight between WBO heavyweight champion Lamon Brewster and challenger Sergei Liakovitch, the fresher, bigger, younger, more athletic, and more skilled Liakovitch survived a seventh round close call to beat the latest black human punching bag.
With Liakovitch And Valuev owning half the heavyweight belts, and with Wlad. Klitsko to surely beat Lady Byrd in 3 weeks, whites will be owning 3 of the 4 heavyweight titles. The only holdout will be Rahman who is scheduled to fight Maskaev, another white man who, the last time he fought Rahman knocked him out of the ring.

Leikovitch looked very good even though he did'nt follow his cornermans instruction. I was worried Leikovitch might get caught in the toe to toe exchanges he kept engaging in but it made for one of the best heavyweight fights I have had the pleasure watching in quite some time. Sergei has some very capable trainers in Richie Giachetti and Kenny Weldon. Giachetti was the man credited for Larry Holmes having such an outstanding jab and Weldons work with Holyfield was equally impressive. However I would like to see the "White Wolf" ( really like the nick-name ) carry his left just a little higher. Great night of boxing!Edited by: dkr77

European/white take over of the division wont makeany difference in the long run.Heavyweight championship boxing will now most likely be relegated from the U.S television networks and certainly the glory days of hevyweight championship boxing taking plaace in grand casino's in Vegas with millions of Dollars on the line for the fighters and in betting with huge worldwide interest is coming to an end.The haters will destroy the sport with propaganda such as the heavyweight division being the weakest its ever been with no personality's and most of the great athletes[urban blacks]opting for football and basketball instead.Thiswill createa level of no interest,with the likely scenario of championship fights swithing to Europe and away from U.S shores and television,.Theirs too many old fashioned attitudes that prevail within the magazines and journalists within the U.S.Tyson's ex trainer who's now a comentator comes to mind,his name escapes me,but this numbskull cant seem to figure out that Eastern Europe produces large populations of big boned,strong powerful white men who hit like a mule kicks, and are quite handy at fighting.He thinks this is something that should only be reserved for the Tyson's and Fraziers of this world,so he understandably comes across as biased and anti white when commentating even though he's white himself.Its these atitudes that may doom many of these great fighters as they just wont get the exposure or paydays they deserve.Edited by: Iron

3 of 4 HW boxing championships are held by WHITE MEN as well as several other belts in different weight classes.

WHITE MEN took titles in all ten weight classes at the NCAA wrestling championships this year.

WHITE MEN hold the world records in all weight classes for the bench press as well.

95+% of all special forces soldiers (Delta, Rangers, Green Berets, Para-rescue, SEALS, Recon) are WHITE MEN.

I don't want to hear anymore crap about whites being whimps just because we don't engage in mortal combat over someone looking at us the wrong way like the blacks do.

Lemon Brewster is the great black hype. I read so many articles by the bigoted American boxing media saying that Brewster is the next big thing and will unify the division. In reality Brewster is a fraud who had a title only due to foul play. White America should take notice to what our East European brothers are doing. Hollywood and media has been drilling us with so much anti-white crap to demoralize us.

Maybe or maybe not.The media loves some of these guys so much,that some never go away.Look at James Toney.He is horrible and way past his prime.Yet he continues to get title shots even after testing positive for steroids.Vitali dominated Danny Farmer,knocking him down 4 or 5 times,but the media is back on his bandwagon.I'm sure that Lamon will get the benefit of the doubt.One of the few guys for us that finally is getting another chance is Wladimir and I'm sure he will make the most of it.Screw Brewster,he sucks.He was already calling out Wladimir before the fight if he beat Bryd,only for Lamon to lose.Ha.ha.ha.

No media bias you say? The general sports media and especially the boxing media have been wrong on three major fights this year. They had Calzaghe as a weak fighter with an exaggerated record that could not stand many rounds against their dynamite Lacy; they had Rahman as a definitive one trick poney against the "defensive genius" Toney; and Liakovitch was not supposed to be capable to withstand a barrage against their durable wonder Brewster. These copycats, armed with e-mail supporters everywhere, all just concur with one another.
Two examples really illustrate this. ESPN Boxing uses Ring Magazine ratings and on the net Boxrec is a comfortable favorite. Ring magazine has Valuev rated 10th and the man he beat and supposedly retired 5th or 6th! Boxrec, before the fight and maybe still does, had not ranked Liakovitch in the top 25!
The top 10 lists everywhere are crowded in various orders with the names of Byrd, Brock, Brewster,Rahman, and Peter. At least Rahman and Byrd deserve to be there because they hold titles, legitimate or not. I suspect, though, that the copycats will keep these names in their lists even if they lose their next fights. I certainly suspect Byrd is really going to get it in his next fight against Klitsko. And yet Byrd is rated on the top of most lists.
All of the white success in the heavyweight division will now be answered off, as IRON mentioned above, as due to poor competition. It has to be, how else can you explain it?

Of all the foreign white heavies only Golota has caught on with the American public and that was only because he was crazy. If all 4 champions are white and non American or North American. The average fan will dismiss the division unless a crazy killer is among them.........

We need to see some of these champions doing talk shows like Letterman,Leno,etc. to get their names better known.They can become popular here in time if given the chance.I have seen alot of Klitschko fans.They at least equal the people who cut him down.People are just jealous and have never thought of whites as being good boxers in many,many years.Hopefully,the trend now will continue and help to change at least some peoples minds.We know the truth and I'm very proud of each of these great boxers from Europe!

Brewster just like his nickname can be relentless, especially when he hurts his opponents. He is currently the best pure finisher in the heavyweight division, in my opinion. He can also box and knows his way around the ring... Brewster can fight and he still can improve a little and that's really all that he needs to do with the heavyweight division so sorely lacking the way it is today. I predict he will stop Lyakhovich Saturday night.

It seems he forget that Brewster took one hell of a beating before he knocked out Wladimir with one obscure combination. There's nothing in it for the media to push the Russians. The boxing writers get invited to parties, help sell endorsements, probably get laid by hanger-ons, all cause they help pimp Don Kings fighters. They will never ever talk up the Russians. Ain't gonna happen. They are locked into the black American boxers and there is nothing that is going to change that. you want to know something?I never rewatched the Wlad-Brewster again.After I watched the fight the first and saw what they did to Wlad i said to myself I will never watch that fight again.It was to painful for to me watch how they jerked Wlad in that fight.Wlad almost died that night.He couldn't even speak.He was rushed to the hospital in a near diabetic coma state.Edited by: onewarrior5
