Haye didn't really beat Valuev

I gritted my teeth and watched the horrible fight again carefully and I scored it objectively and I was much more generous to Haye than the partisan but fair and competent British commentators who had Valuev winning.

Round 1. Even. Each landed about 1 punch (announcers scored it for Valuev)

2. Haye. Backing away but he landed the only decent punch of the round.

3. Haye. He landed a couple of punches.

4. Clear round for V.

5. V again. He's the aggressor and lands more good punches.

6. V again. Same.

7. Draw. Neither effective (announcers had it for V)

8. Haye. He was more effective.

9. Haye again. Same.

10. V easily. More aggressive and effective.

11. V. Both inefective but V landed a couple.

12. Clearly Haye.

Decision 5-5 draw. One judge was honest, two judges, the American and the Italian, were crooked. Where are their score cards? Why aren't they called upon to defend their scoring? Their scoring is bogus and indefensible. Why no protest from Valuev and his team? Why did Haye and his team appear to know in advance that they won? Why did Valuev and his team meekly accept the blatant robbery of their title?

There is no way it was 116-112. Those two scorecards were fraudulent. The British pro-Haye  announcers had Valuev winning on their tv scorecard. Even if it was a draw the champion retains the title.

WW, you were generous in your scoring to David Gaye. I had Valuev winning the fight by 2 rounds. That was clearly the way it went and many people have agreed with me. Valuev was robbed for a reason and that reason is so that we can have a black champion at heavyweight.

When I replayed it I was leaning over backwards to try to be as generous to Haye as I possibly could.  I think in this case it was more a matter of the boxing mobsters figuring they could make more money off of the loud mouthed preening posturing bisexual British cannibal than they could off the staid Valuev, and yeah he is fashionably *******, too. That helps.  The British tv announcers were shocked at the decision, but Haye was dancing on the ropes with his arms up before it was even announced.  Have you ever seen anything like that in a very close fight, one fighter jumping up on the ropes in victory before the decision?  And then there was Valuev and his corner standing there like bumps on a  log, not even showing any signs of surprise or anger, so they were in on the fix too.  And of course nobody ever asked to examine those two bizarre scorecards from those two convicts dressed up in judge suits.  Valuev has been mixed up with the Russian mob for a long time, I think.

And no place on any of the wigger boxing forums, or elsewhere else, has anyone seriously challenged me on my round by round scoring.

Yes - a nonsense decision and boring fight at that. Will make what Klitschko does to Haye more enjoyable though, as you know the Drunk White Fans and black racists will cheer for their latest Great Black Hype.

Sauerland screwed Valuev over because they stood to gain a lot from Haye winning. Haye gave them options on his next 3 fights after Valuev and there was the option of a Valuev rematch. I don't know what Sauerland's cut is, but I imagine it's fairly substantial. Sauerland probably thought they would be part of at least 1 fight with Klitschko and they'd be laughing all the way to the bank.

Do you think Valuev was really trying?

During a recent chat with Moskovsky
Komsomolets, Vitali Klitschko shared his opinion on last Saturday's
David Haye-Nikolay Valuev bout for the WBA heavyweight title. The WBC
heavyweight champion's forecast was true but only partially â€" Haye
really looked a little better, but the judges gave the victory to him
and not to Valuev, as Klitschko predicted.

"Before the bout I
read Valuev's interview where he said that his team had ruined my plans
by arranging the fight with Haye - said the Ukrainian champion â€" At
first I didn't pay attention to it. But now I understand that he was
right. The situation became more complicated because now the Russian
doesn't have a belt, and without it he's just a Giant, and nothing more.

"The
result of the fight between Valuev and Haye is logical. Neither of them
has enough strength to knock the other out. I said that Haye would win
but the judges would hand the victory to Valuev. It had happened before
and I thought that Nikolay will retain his title again."

"However
I was wrong about the judges. Why did they give the victory to Haye? I
don't know the details of his contract with Valuev. But I suspect that
Haye is already in the "basket"Â￾ of Don King. I have no idea what King's
further plans are. However that explains why they were able to agree
upon everything and to arrange the fight between Valuev and Haye that
quickly, it wasn't accidental."

Vitali assumes that Don King is
at least co-promoter of David Haye and predicted the possible rematch of
the British fighter with Valuev. As for his own possible participation
in the struggle for the WBA belt Vitali underlined: "Now we have to
negotiate with Don King instead of Haye"Â￾.
