he doesn't get much exposure, because he plays for Hawaii, but Greg Salas is a very gifted wideout.

Greg Salas blows up for Hawaii

Hawaii wide receiver Greg Salaskicked off his season in style, catching seven balls for 180 yards and a score on Friday night.


Early indications are that it will be Salas to emerge as the prime receiving threat for the Warriors.
Salas leads nation in receiving yards per game

Hawai'i slotback Greg Salas continues to lead the nation in total receiving yards and receiving yards per game, according to the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision statistics released today.


Salas has 20 catches for 479 yards in three games for the Warriors (2-1) for an average of 159.67 yards per game. He had six catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-33 loss to UNLV on Saturday.

Another 6 catches for 122 yards against La. Tech last night. He's fifth in the nation in receiving yards, averaging an incredible 23.1 yards per catch.

I haven't seen this guy play, but read a few articles. He was moved to the slot this year from the outside. So, he has outside speed and "NFL quality hands." Good size at 6'2" 200 lbs.

Definitely worth keeping an eye on him here at CF.
