Right guys, who are you picking?

Anyone fancy an upset?

Personally, I don't - I see Mayweather winning this one comfortably. He's too slick and is the best defensive fighter in boxing for me. I can't see anyone department where Cotto is better.

I also didn't realise that Miguel is actually the shorter man.

I was psyched for this fight 4 years ago before the Margarito fight, but now it doesn't hold much appeal for me.

I'd love to see Cotto win but I'll be surprised if he wins even one round.

Same.

I highly doubt it, but mayweather had better fight either Martinez or Pacquiao next.

To be honest, I am not that interested in a Pac fight as I think he schools him comfortably. I just think the guy is immensely talented and am frustrated we probably won't get to see him push himself and test his potential.

Why do you pretend that you aren't trolling but then start threads like this and sport an avatar like that? You've been here one day and already have 22 posts and like 10 threads trying to push buttons all the while complaining about how "hostile" the forum members are.

I was contemplating on posting on this big fight.

Yes, Miguel Cotto is not White, but he is the consumate professional and sportsman. I will be watching and praying that he pulls the big upset and beats gayweather.

The 3 keys for Cotto are conditioning(big time, he can not fade) his excellent jab, almost Ike Quartey like and his excellent power. If all three are flowing to perfection he wins. If shows up like he did against a almost prime Mosely back in 2007, he has an excellent shot of winning.

Also, on the PPV is White Mexican Canelo Alvarez vs a shot Mosely.

To be fair, Mayweather is an excellent fighter with outstanding defensive skills and surreal conditioning. Those two things about him carry him to all victories, except one when he was given a gift decision in the 1st Castillo fight.

Regarding these rash of trolls, they appear to be from England. Either British DWFs/emasculated whites whose fathers allowed England to be infested with the scrourge of Africa, Middle East and the Pakis, Indians etc. Or, blacks or arabs from England who got a new lease on life(relatively speaking) rather than running around africa passing AIDS without 2 nickels to rub or in the Middle East banging their sisters, cousins or little boys or raping asian house keepers..

It seems they are mostly emasculated, self-loathing whites.

It's very disconcerting how brainwashed many people in the UK are. Can't they see, the riots last summer are just a sample of far worse to come.

I can see where Western European countries are heading and it deeply saddens me.

Yeah. I didn't know the Klitschko brothers have a herd of pet monkies. Are they planning to start a little zoo?

They have advertisements up for this fight in the Mandalay Casino where I was yesterday.

WW how long you going to be in Vegas? I remember over 15 years ago, I used to rampage there. Sometimes winning! and sometimes losing. Fun, no matter what! Heading out there in June to live large for 4 days, can't wait. So, you gonna be in town during the Cotto vs gayweather fight?

And when he fought Hatton he required the assistance of crooked referee Joe Cortez. Hatton was fighting the both of them.

Hopefully I'm outa here today. As I said, I don't care for this place. I have zero interest in "gaming" with their rigged machines and fixed odds, but I guess if you're in the right frame of mind you could have fun here. I'm not particularly interested in the Cotto fight, tho it would be nice to see Gayweather lose.

Yeah your right, but Hatton and his team should have insisted on another ref. And it was not Cortez who told Ricky to collide his jaw with a perfect check left hook by gayweather. Hatton ruined his career with buco Guiness all day and all night. Years before their encounter Emanuel Steward said that Hatton could beat gayweather based on his conditioning and infighting, but after abusing alcohol, especially in a sport like boxing it erods your skills and stamina. I wont be surpised if Hatton takes the Seau route out of this world.

Hatton was KO'd by the Negro, but only after he was completely disconcerted by the crooked referee who also wouldn't let him fight on the inside. His corner should have stopped the fight and refused to let him come out because of Cortez' shananigans and blatant interference with the fight. Telling post fight photo showed Cortez with his arm around Mayweather, both smiling broadly. I'm very disappointed with all those drunken British fans for not tearing the place up and lynching Max Kellerman for his disrespectful post fight interview with Hatton in the ring, tho I guess they couldn't hear that.

One thing going for Cotto is that the fight is at 154. This is Cotto's natural weight class. He killed himself to make 144 against Pacquiao and did okay until the halfway point when he faded.

Mayweather's natural weight would seem to be 147. Maybe his speed will get him through but maybe the ref will let Cotto work inside (unlike he did for Hatton) and outmuscle the mouthy Negro.

I wouldn't place a bet but Mayweather can lose if Cotto can make it a war and the ref lets them fight.

I don't think the current faded version of Cotto will beat Mayweather. I'm hoping he'll find a way though - Cotto seems to be a good man, in contrast to the trashy, childlike Mayweather.

However, I'm thinking Alvarez will beat Mosley, perhaps even KO him, so that will be a win for the good guys.

Oh, Alvarez will handle Mosley with no problem.

I do like that Mayweather only came in at 151. This means he cut no weight. Cotto may come in 15 pounds heavier by fight time.

I'd say a lot depends on the ref. If he lets Cotto fight inside it is a very close fight. If he helps Mayweather like the ref did agaist Hatton then Mayweather will win.

I am certainly cheering for the Puerto Rican and will watch a stream online after the UFC fights.

I do not care for this fight.

Midget boxing is funny.

The heavyweight division is where real warriors fight.

I expect nothing less than Alvarez to completely steamroll Mosely. He will have to be careful though, Mosely still has power in the beginning of fights as gayweather will attest after getting serverely rocked in their fight 2 years ago by Mosely. The last time Alvarez chin was tested was on the same day. He was noticably rocked by Miguel Cotto's fat little brother in a Welterweight fight before knocking him out. I believed he had just turned 19 years old.

Man, I hope Miguel can beat gayweather by any means. If so, gayweather will be locked out of the biggest prize fight in history with Pacman.

3 Keys again for Cotto are 1. supreme conditioning. 2. Sledgehammer jab. 3. Dropping his power right on floyd's mug. If all three are clicking on all cylinders, he wins. Being watching 24/7 seems his strength and conditioning coach is continoulsy monitoring Cotto's blood sugar, lactic acid and etc. Hopefully he will earn his pay.

Mosley is completely shot though, as soon as Alvarez hits him the negro will be running for his life like he did against Pacquiao.
