From Fightnews:

In a short but energetic thriller, Russian cruiserweight Alexander Kotlobay (18-1, 12 KOs) survived a hard knockdown in the first to impressively ruin Argentinean kayo artist Mauro Adrian Ordiales (now 23-7, 22 KOs) in the second to acquire PABA interim and a vacant IBF International 200lb titles. Ordiales didn't waste much time and went to Kotlobay swinging right after the starting bell. It took the Russian just ten seconds to floor Ordiales with a short right for the first time. The Argentinean got up and both fighters began trading punches in the center of the ring. At the end of the second minute Kotlobay connected with a hard left to the liver and down went Ordiales for the second time. Sensing his foe was too groggy to continue Kotlobay ran after him and was soon caught by a smashing left which sent him down hard right before the bell. Kotlobay was very lucky this punch landed too late for Ordiales. The Russian recovered well during the break and both pugilists continued to exchange hard blows in the second. In the midst of the stanza Ordiales opened his block a bit and was crushed down after a major right hook by Kotlobay. He stood up on shaky legs but was in no condition to continue so that referee Nikolay Puchkov stopped this wild brawl at 1:27 of the second round.

Comebacking Azerbaijani cruiserweight and former world title challenger Ali Ismailov (17-3-1, 12 KOs) erased bad memories of his latest defeat to Denis Lebedev with a wide and unanimous decision over ultra durable Latvian professional loser Jevgenijs Andrejevs (10-31, 2 KOs). Ismailov worked hard but failed to finish his clowning foe even despite a knockdown he had scored in the fifth after a huge left to the chin. Fightnews scored it 60-53 for WBC #26 Ismailov. The fight was scheduled for six rounds. Andrejevs has been stopped only once in his career â€" in his first ever outing.

The young, up-and-coming White cruiserweight stops the young, up-and-coming Negro cruiserweight.

Once again, the racist idea of Negro "superior athleticism" is exposed as a lie.

There's a brief report on this Polish boxing website.

From Fightnews:

Hard-hitting German cruiserweight kayo artist Alexander Frenkel (22-0, 17 KOs) failed to score his next stoppage win and also to become the first ever fighter to stop elusive and durable American veteran Michael Simms (21-13-2, 13 KOs) but got a well-deserved unanimous decision over eight hard-fought rounds. After a cautious first round, WBC #9 and IBF #12 Frenkel began to operate at his full potential, delivering well-placed series, uppercuts and single punches to beat Simms to the punch. 1999 Houston gold medalist Simms rolled with the punches, bobbed and weaved to avoid the vast majority of punches but was pretty inept in attack. He indeed was able to get out of danger but allowed Frenkel to control the fight. In round six, Simms got the better of Frenkel suddenly pressing him at the ropes but the German of Ukrainian origin came back strongly in the seventh. The last round saw Frenkel moving forward and eating punches. All three judges scored the bout for Frenkel 79-75 and 79-73 (twice). Fightnews saw it also 79-73 for the German.

Unbeaten cruiserweight Mateusz Masternak (19-0, 14 KOs) crushed journeyman Marco Heinichen (11-23-2, 6 KOs) dropping him in round one and finishing him at :50 of round two. Heinichen's corner threw in the towel after their fighter went down again in the second.

I guess this is the best place to stick this. It looks like Steve Cunningham has signed with Sauerland. This could get very interesting with Cunningham facing a top European cruiserweight for the vacant belt.

Did anyone watch the Cunningham-Ross fight. I understand Ross was dominating and Cunningham won on a controversial stoppage.

Yes, Ross had an eye injury from Cunningham's thumb, so it should have gone to the scorecards but instead it was a TKO. Ross was ahead on two of the three cards as far as I know.

Here is a bit of bad news. Firat Arslan was beaten by 11th round TKO by negro Steve Herelius. From Fightnews:

Cruiserweight Steve
Herelius (20-1-1, 11 KOs) scored an eleventh round TKO over comebacking
former champion Firat Arslan (29-5-1, 18 KOs) to claim the vacant
interim version of the WBA world title on Saturday night at the Porsche
Arena in Stuttgart, Germany. The lanky Herelius scored from long range
with his southpaw jab, but as the bout progressed and he slowed down,
Arslan's pressure paid dividends. Arslan staggered Herelius in round
seven, sending him wobbling around the ring as was one punch away from
ending it. Herelius was later deducted a point for a headbutt in round
ten by referee Stanley Christodoulou. Arslan, appeared to be on the way
to a sure win, however after a Herelius uppercut in the eleventh, he
suddenly seemed completely out of it and barely made it back to his
stool. The bout was then stopped by trainer Michael Timm.</font></font>

There's about 10 white cruiserweights who would definitely beat Herelius: Drodz, Brudov, Kolodziej, Frenkel, Alexeev, Lebedev, Chakhkiev, Huck, Wlodarczyk, and Masternak.

The long-armed negro Herelius was taking a beating until Arslan could no longer function due to heat exhaustion. Firat, who turns 40 in September, had been inactive for a long time.

Parody, don't forget about Rudolf Kraj. It seems as he may have retired though.

Also, what is the deal with Guillermo Jones? He should have been stripped of the title for not fighting.

They should strip him of the belt anyway. How much longer until he makes his first defense? This is beyond ridiculous. Once Jones fights one of these top European cruiserweights that belt is gone.
