The pathetic performance of the Americans at Wimbledon (no Americans in the quarterfinals for the first time since 1911), following the pathetic performance of the Americans at the French Open, has set off the predictablebout of hand-wringing in the corporate media, replete with the also predictable superficial analyses of the situation. Donald Dell, a former U.S. Davis Cup captain, says, "We're in competition with all of our other sports and tennis isn't attracting necessarily the best young athletes. It's not because of money; it's because they have other choices. The team sports are still dominating, and we're not attractinig our share of the 12-year-olds."

Dell apparently yearns for more Negroes to take to the tennis courts, but what a stupid thing to say. When haven't American kids had lots of other choices besides tennis when it comes to sports? Other than the X-games type stuff, it's no different now than it was when the U.S. dominated tennis.

The U.S. has been getting defeated regularly at the Ryder Cup. We know about international basketball. The World Baseball Classic was a fiasco, as is the World Cup. Other than American football (which virtually no one else besides Samoa plays), sprinting, and some swimming events, what sports does the U.S. dominate anymore? In many we're not even competitive.

It has a lot to do with decadence, and with the Caste System and its systematic degradation of whites in all areas of society. So many of the flag waving "dittoheads" think that because we can bomb any Third World country we want from 18,000 feet, that we're still a great country that is "number one" in everything like the America of not so long ago. In reality we are a hollowed out country with an utterly corrupt and power-drunk government living on borrowed moneywhose military toys cover up the gaping wounds destroying us from within.

I have to honestly say that I am not a fan of US athletics. National pride and National athletics go hand in hand. This country has become so polarized that only the most severely brain dead would not notice. Why would I cheer for an all black basketball team? All of these men are multi-millionaires talking about ...how hard it is to be black in the USA. F THEM.

As for my favorite sport (hockey), The glory days of Hull, LaFontaine, Roneck, Madano, Leetch, Chelios, Richter, and Tkachuk are over. The best American hockey player right now is arguably Scott Gomez. He ranked 23 in NHL regular season scoring.

Wow, amazing that USTA decides to make a press release today dealing with player development. Big plans for some sort of tennis academy at Chris Evert's facility. Probably makes Dell happy considering players must meet certain criteria. I'm leery when a organization has an agenda.

USTA Launches New Era in American Tennis Player Development

USTA Player Development National Headquarters to Move from Key Biscayne, Fla. to Boca Raton

New Facility to Include Dorm-Style Living Quarters, State-of-the-Art Fitness Center,
Full Training Facility, and Access to 23 Tennis Courts on Multiple Surfaces

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., July 5, 2006 -- The USTA today announced a new alliance with the Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton, Fla., to provide year-round housing for top junior players for the first time, launching a new era in the program's mission to develop the next generation of American tennis champions. Working with the USTA, the Evert Academy will construct a new on-site facility that will serve as the national headquarters for USTA Player Development. The USTA is expected to move its national headquarters from Key Biscayne, Fla., to the Evert Tennis Academy by (September) 2007.

As part of the new arrangement, the USTA will for the first time offer player housing for promising young players aged 14-18. Plans for the facility call for a three-level building that will include dorm-style living arrangements a state-of-the-art fitness center, classrooms, offices and a conference facility.

The Evert Tennis Academy is run by Chris Evert and John Evert, and features 23 tennis courts, including 14 clay courts and 9 hard courts, with 14 courts lighted for night play. The USTA Athletic Training staff will have access to training rooms at all times, and the facility will feature a state-of-the-art video lounge.

The new player housing program is designed to serve as an adjunct to private coaching for players that meet certain criteria. Those players housed on-site will have access to a variety of different schooling options, including nearby public and private schools. The players in the USTA housing program will also be provided with food service and a nutrition program developed by USTA staff.

interesting this was brought up with the failure of americans at wimbledon. frank deford writes about it on si website and wonders whether title9 would have made billie jean king a softball player. not a bad point by frank.
tennis could be instructive. are we witnessing the williams chill effect where black athletes rise and whites just plain drop out. the two top young female americans are black--jamea jackson and shenay perry. where are the rising white girls?
but don hits a nail--the degradation and media humiliation of white athletes has caused so much damage.
whites have to start believing in themselves again otherwise we will continue to see whites drop out when it comes to sports. how this comes about is the big question given the reality of sports in our country.

I DON'T cheer for American Teams anymore because they are mostly black and if they win, the jock sniffers use that against us. If enough White Men win at sports maybe{just maybe]we can make a dent in the caste system.Vitali did a good job of bringing pride back to White fighters.Germans did the same in the Winter Games. We have got to show these jerks we can not only play the games but are among the best at whatever we do.I will take a White European team over a black American team anyday. There are a lot of pignuts out there and any time a black wins they will never let you forget it-SO LETS ROOT FOR THE WHITE MEN!![no matter where they come from].

The decline of the US in sports is directly related to players being pampered and degraded simulataneously. Bare with me. Aspiring Basketball and Baseball players play in multiple leagues throughout the seasons and in these leagues, fall into a certain mold. They become obsessed with equipment and follow sports with a strange perspective and are concerned with the front office more than they are with the field of players. But, they are also pushed by their parents and coaches to look at it as a way to get scholarships and money.

You have to look at the decline of the middle class as well. The imporverished need sports as a way to get money. The Yuppitized Reaganites have raised children in the sub-urbs to play video games all day and play Madden rather than football.

If things continue, we will have to establish "baseball academies" which take a lot out of baseball in my opinion. We need to just keep playing sports.

I'm from a small, country town and I see families moving in whose kids never play at the parks and whose teens never work out or swim or something like that.

That is why the US is declining in sports.

The notable exception is the LDS(Mormons). They regularly play sports and stay active. They've come far from their fundamentalist, polygamist, and "Christian Identity" roots, and have emerged as moral leaders in many ways. If Whites and Americans are to have a future with sports, they must follow their lead in some respects.

Here we go again. Eliot Teltscher, former tennis pro and now with the USTA, chimes in. The statement about Jordan really takes the cake.

"We're located in the same place as the U.S. Soccer Federation and we're all commiserating this week after the World Cup," he said. "But we talk about how the best athletes in this country still play basketball, football and baseball.

"If Michael Jordan got into tennis before basketball, he would be the best tennis player in the world, there's no doubt, so getting the players has to be the goal. We're fixated on Florida and California, but good players live everywhere. Players in Delaware hit a certain age and have no competition, so they have to move or start going backward."

Yeah, Michael Jordan was such an effortlessly brilliant baseball player wasn't he.

Ever watch some of these "world's greatest affletes" from football and basketball attempt to play a "non-sport" like golf? It's amazing how uncoordinated and lacking in hand-eye coordination most of them are when trying to hit a small ball with a club. I'd love to see some of them try to excel at tennis.

Terry Francona coached Michael Jordan when he was with the Birmingham Barons. Francona thought he sucked so bad he told him to go back to basketball.

They are too tall to follow standard mechanics usually in baseball. Tony Clark anybody? The large strike zone changes things for people above 6'5''.

As for tennis, you have to really play a lot to get that good. The repitition in tennis and golf are unparalleled I think. I know one person who picked up tennis in his early twenties and became a level 5 tennis player on that chart(7 is world class, 6 is semi-pro, 5 is very good amateur with good skills who usually lacks the athleticism for higher levels). Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yeh Jordan was such a natural in baseball. Looked like an overgrown dorky giraffe out there. If you look bad trying to play baseball you would look even worse playing tennis where you even have to be lighter on your feet than baseball. Jordan was a stellar basketball player and a great athlete but that doesn't mean his skills translate into every sport. All this lack of blacks in sports is pure drivel.
How about more white cornerbacks. Lets have a media drive for that.

The U.S. is really declining in golf of late. After Woods and Mickelson, Jim Furyk is the only other American now ranked in the top ten and there are just six Americans in the top 25. That's a rapid falling off, as recent Ryder Cup results can attest. And there are no potentially great U.S. players in their 20s.

The women's tour is even worse with the rise of the Koreans though there are bright spots like Creamer, Gulbis and, unfortunately, feminazi hero Wie. At least the men's tour is still overwhelmingly white with just a few Asians.

There's just very little sportswise the U.S. dominates anymore. Edited by: Don Wassall

The Ryder Cupends up asa repeat performance. Are white U.S. golfers so psychologically whipped by Tiger Woods that their regular thumping in this event is predictable? Decadence, degradation and the general softness of white Americans seems to result in a lack of killer instinct.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it. After all, European countries get bombarded with American "culture" and their own native versions of it, though less in Eastern Europe and Russia. Whatever the causes, golf is now another sport that white Americans long dominated but don't any more.

AreAmerican whitesthe best atany sport anymore? Swimming seems to be it, and the dominance there isn't what it once was either.

Are Americans in general the best at ANYTHING anymore?

The U.S. is no longer known for its quality of manufacturing. Our entertainment industry, although top notch in technical quality, chooses to produce nothing of substance and value. Our educational system, despite the highest rate of spending per student, ranks dismally well below other industrialized, and some third world, nations. We are barely hanging on to our reputation as a nation of liberty, and have lost our status as a champion of democracy. Most of the world fears us more than they fear 'the terrorists.' Our military weaponry is superior, but it seems our tactics may be out of date for the kind of warfare in which we seem to be engaged in the most.

The whole ship is sinking, not just our achievements in sports. If you think about it, how well we fare in sports is probably the least of our worries.

Great post. Sports is indeed the least of our worries, but we're also doing our patriotic duty by making those with ears to hear and eyes tosee aware that sports is not somehow magically immune from the systematic corruption that infects all other U.S. institutions of influence and control.

The Caste System is an integral part of understanding the "big picture." Until now its Big Lie had gone unchallenged for decades. In a country in which "professional wrestling" is believedto be genuineby millions of fans, building up a huge belief system in the Caste System among the masses of sports fans wasn't difficult at all. However, itsvery monolithic, unrelentingnature will also be the cause of its undoing. Edited by: Don Wassall

Don,
Perhaps part of the problem also is that our sports 'complex' if you will, is now a part of the entertainment industry.

The same forces that support the entertainment industry are the ones that pay mega-contracts to athletes before they set foot on the field of play. The political idealogy that drives entertainment corporatism is the same that pushes athletes like Michelle Wie to compete with men, signs the single black black swimmer in the whole country to big dollars and ignores the rest, and views Wariner as a curiosity, is the same idealogy that is damaging the rest of our country as well.

So trying to make people aware of the caste system is in the same vein as trying to make people aware of these things in other areas. Sports may be the least of our worries, as I wrote earlier, but it is still a 'worry,' and awareness of the caste system in sports may one day be a catalyst in helping take down the caste system that is in place in all areas of life, not just sports. Yes lads, this ship is sinking fast and 99% of Americans have no clue. The U.S Dollar has lost about 30% of its purchasing power in the last 4 years, thanks to a federal reserve that likes to print money out of thin air. Many economists think it will fall another 30% in the next 3-5 years. The per capita national debt is now $156,000. You have to wonder how long will foreign countries continue buying our debt? The U.S is in one huge credit bubble, both the government and the majority of its citizens.Edited by: KJV1

Home prices have gone up as much as 100% in some areas of the country. The value of my home has risen more than 50 % over the last five years and we all know how the price of gas has escalated. Health costs are through the roof. Yet we are to believe inflation is nothing to worry about because the nuts, bolts and cheap lighting fixtures we buy from big box stores off set the prices. Sure they do.

Perhaps we have two educational problems, one black and one brown...?

The gap in test scores between white and ethnically Asian students on the one hand and black and Hispanic students on the other is a well-known attribute of U.S. schools and is noted ruefully in nearly all cross-national studies. Two University of Pennsylvania researchers recently aggregated scores from a number of cross-national studies and found that white students in the United States, taken alone, consistently outperform the predominantly white student populations of several other leading industrial nations. "There is compelling evidence," they write," that the low scores of [black and Hispanic students] were major factors in reducing the comparative standing of the U.S. in international surveys of achievement. If these minority students were to perform at the same level as white students, the U.S....would lead the Western G5 nations in mathematics and science, though it would still trail Japan." In PISA, for instance, white students performed above most European countries, whereas black students performed on par with students in Thailand. So while the performance of minority groups in the U.S. does refute the alarmist assertion regarding an across-the-board decline in U.S. schools, it does so in a particularly unfortunate wayâ€â€￾namely, it suggests that some American minority groups will be shut out of high-paying jobs as companies look for better-educated workers overseas. Although the most recent TIMSS saw the white-black score gap close slightly, it is almost certain to remain shockingly large in the near future. [emphasis added]

Mike Modano passed Joey Mullen the other day and is now the top American born scorer in NHL history with 503 goals, but that's good for just 36th place all time. I learned while listening to tonight's Penguins game that not one American is among the top 45 scorers in the league this season. That's beyond pathetic.

Obviously Americans' performance in the NHL can'tbedirectly attributed to the Caste System, but I don't think it's a stretch to connect it to the overall psywar that is being waged against white American men. The decline of white Americans in many sports has been well chronicled here, even in sports like tennis and golf where they have only white competition for the most part. Also, the lack of a killer instinct and the lack of toughness in general, all seems related to me.

Whites are not supposed to be great anymore ina society in which they are not even assumed to be good people, with a unitary, Cultural Marxist system in charge that demonizes and treats whitesas the "cancer of history," as Jewish feminist Susan Sonntag once infamously described whites. White American males are beaten down from the moment they draw their first breath. We are today's Indians, tomorrow's dispersed and ruined remnant. It's hardly a suprise that between the overall agenda ofthe ruling forces, along with its Caste System that trains whites to think they are inferior physically, that the white athlete is in decline. It's another ominous sign that America is being engineered by those in charge to be a predominantly non-white country in what in historical terms is but a blink of an eye in time.Edited by: Don Wassall

Yessir. The "bruthas" all think they're/wanna-be Tiger Woods nowadays. Tiger was the very rare exception! Most of them need to stick to back-alley craps games, the gold chain snatch-n'-run, drive-by "target shooting" & street hoops.

There are so many crappy black players stinking the courses up around where I live it has become impossible to play. The courses are so croweded and the playing so slow I have almost given it up. There are so many people playing that should not be playing, too many old people. too many women, too many kids, blacks, and really bad weekend athletes. I curse the day that Tiger Woods picked up a golf club.

It's unbelieveable. There are so many American kids playing in thousands of rinks around the country it is almost impossible to have that large a segment of the population involved in a sporting activity and not being able to produce one single frickin' superstar. Maybe when the economy collapses and white people are reduced to an oppressed minority in this country we can produce one single decent hockey player (and running back!)

And another thing. I recently checked the Yahoo fantasy baseball rankings and there is not one white player listed in the top 20 rated players to pick. Yes there is some racial bias going on but fantasy baseball players don't pick by race, they pick by stats.

So in baseball, which is supposed to be OUR sport, there is not one white man in this country that can outperform the top 20 hispanics in hitting. And the numbers don't get much better after that. There are no white ball players that hit for power and steal bases, there are few white ball players that hit for power, drive in runs and have a high average.

White baseball players (hitters) suck. Most white guys hit some home runs but strike out a million times a year. They have to start teaching somehing different in little league or whites are going to disappear from baseball like they have from football. And if it wasn't for pitching they already would have.
