mattharper mentioned Dalton Crossan in another thread, and upon mh's suggestion i checked out some of Crossan's videos on youtube ... and the kid is SICK. hence, i started his own thread ... but all credit goes to Crossan for the talent and mattharper for the spot.

combine footage (1v1's and so forth):

here's his Rivals profile, but of course he is a no-star prospect. at least Scout gives him a two-star rating ... which is still pathetic. his ability to change direction and accelerate is very impressive.

if i'm seeing things on youtube correctly, ithink he has a younger brother who is pretty good, as well.

Good posting Chitwood. Purdue actually was trying to get him as a slot receiver and sometime tailback. Rutgers has him as a cornerback. Hes better off at rb and though I dont watch combine videos a lot this kid has the quickest legs I have ever seen. Hes going to be starting for some Div I college in the near future.

I hope everyone on CF sees this kid. Agreed, some of the quickest legs I've seen as evident on video and I believe he has posted a shuttle time already in the 3.9 range!

I'm generally skeptical about measureables posted on rivals, scout, etc. as some of you know, but I believe if he's not 3.91 shuttle, it's very close.

Crazy quickness! One of the best I've seen.

Great find, mattharper, thanks!

Dalton Crossan finally has D1 offers

http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=5383423Dalton CrossanListen guys I have been following Dalton crossan who is a very talented running back from the state of NY. Crossan has immense talent, but for some reason has been flying under the radar until now. He has 3 offers 2 of the are D1 from the state of NY. Crossan averaged an amazing 12.3 yards a carry last year however apparently that is not good enough for Rutgers to offer him. Here is his scout profile. This kid is big time. I would like him to end up at Syracuse, and lead that team back to prominence the way the used to be in the 90's and early 2000's.

Real nice junior year highlight video:

This kid has extreme agility and evasiveness. Clearly he's more of a run around you vs. a run through you back.

I hope that the offers that Dalton is getting are on-the-level. Most speed-moves backs with pasty complexions are snubbed since they can't possibly have the "wiggle" and other mythical attributes only possessed by affletes (see Nile Knapp).
