I am really excited with the trade the Mavericks made.
They traded a few players to aquire Keith Van Horn who
has been a very good player for a long time.Van Horn
averages over 17 points a game for his career in the
nba. With Nowitzki at power forward and Van Horn at small
forward, the Mavs will be very fun to watch. If only they
still had S.Nash.Oh well.I hope next season, the young
7'5 Center can start to contribute.By the way,Van Horn
is only 29 so he still has some good years left.

i think van horn will put up good numbers, he did a good job with new york a few years ago. and when he went to the bucks all of a sudden his numbers went down.

This makes the Mavs the hands down team to cheer for for us anti-casters. Van Horn will get lots of minutes. So two excellent white players will be getting lots of shots and points for a playoff team!!! This is the best basketball news since the Olympics. They should also work well together. Finally two good white big guys have each other count on. Also Van Horn is an excellent athlete (like Dirk) he could be the best US born white player in the game.

It's great to see Van Horn and Dirk on the same team, but I'm even happier to see Chris Webber traded from Sacramento to Philly. Although Peja Stojakovic has taken grief for not producing in the playoffs, Webber has to rank among the all-time biggest choke artists of any prominent athlete in any sport.

Webber has done nothing but ruin Sacramento's team chemistry as he was artificially elevated to the main man on the Kings when he didn't deserve to be. They played much better without him than with him. The Kings should have been Peja's team and now they will be. Along with Brad Miller they're a team to strongly root for, along with the Mavericks and Spurs.

It's an interesting trade, given that they already have two small
forwards in Jerry Stackhouse and Josh Howard. I don't know
how he'll fit in. He may play a little 4 if they rotate Dirk at 4 and
5.

Van Horn came off the bench last night and scored 10.He had a couple of nice baskets, particularly that spin move along the baseline for a dunk.It continues to annoy me when Van Horn can make a play like that and yet he is still considered by many to be un-athletic.I think Keith's best position is small forward,so maybe he will end up being their main sub, like the 6th man.I guess we will have to wait and see what the Mavs have in store for Keith.

I read a long time ago that Van Horn has a 38 inch
vertical. He reminds me alot of Tom Chambers from a
few years ago.Keith will help the Mavs alot.I hope
he gets to start soon.

When Keith joined the Bucks he became a fan favorite and played very well. He suffered a few injuries along with a broken hand or finger, so his playing time was limited for playoffs. He's had lingering injuries this year. He can rebound, shoot three's and has a very nice inside game.He doesn't pass as well as Kukoc but is better than most players, they both displayed great basketball skills on the floor.

Van horn had a great game tonight with 19 points in
only 29 minutes. He continues to improve and should be
a great asset come playoff time.I will love seeing him
and Dirk putting up 20+ a night in the playoffs!

I listen to them on the radio a lot. They are fun to listen to, and Dirk is a warrior. They are a cool team.

v an horn has step up his play, so you know what that means. Time to trade him to a team that will not use him properly. My guess is he will be playing for the toronto rapters.

The Mavs have made some good business deals as of late and are an exciting team to watch play. Dirk is awesome. Nice to see a white boy with some hops.

What chance do you guys think Dallas has of winning the NBA championship? Right now I'm thinking the Spurs, but I'd like to see Dallas there too.

Tonight was a very entertaining game between the Mavs
and the Warriors. Two very caste friendly teams.Dirk
had 29 points and 10 rebounds. He also almost got in a
couple of fights and didn't back down at all.Keith Van
Horn added 23 points. They are starting to play good
together.I can't wait till the playoffs.Dunleavy was
ejected for the Warriors which was too bad because he
is a fine player.Carpkaba continues to impress me with
every game for the Warriors despite them rarely passing
him the ball.By the way,Baaron Davis is shooting only
15% for the whole season and might break the all time
worst nba record for shooting percentage! No big loss
since I can't stand him.I was so glad he got traded
from New Orleans & Dickau took his job.Too bad the
Warriors got him.At the end of the game, the 19 year old
Russian for the Mavs played a minute and blocked a shot!
He is 7'5 and very muscular. He will be a good one in
a few years.Great game overall.
