From my research Gifford's was about as anti-immigration as McCain - just says the right things around election time.

She voted for the Dream Act from what I've read, so is probably a mealy mouthed politician. Opposed by the Tea Party as well.

She supported the Dream Act and was against the Arizona anti-illegal law SB 1070(?). She also authored a bill, that never was brought to a vote, that would have tripled H1B visas. Like McCain she gave lip-service rhetoric to stopping illegals come election time.

Very sad. She was a 9yr old girl that was at the event with a family neighbor. She was interested in politics. This cornhole deserves the death penalty and then some. The idiot decides to shoot someone and so he sprays a crowd with fire and doesn't even kill the target he was after! What the hell?

Mainstream media caught lying again. AZ spree killer is a leftist.

Immediately after the shooting spree that killed five, the media gleefully speculated that the shooter was part of the TEA Party movement.

It turns out, nothing could be further from the truth. The shooter has now been described by multiple friends and acquaintances as a left-winger. He listened to communist rock bands like Anti-Flag and listed Karl Marx as one of his favorite authors online.

Contrary to the slanderous comments about right-wing/TEA Party motives, uttered on some "mainstream"Â￾ media outlets, the shooter probably thought Gifford wasn't left-wing enough. In fact, the radical left-wing DailyKos.com published a diatribe against Gifford just two days earlier for not being left-wing enough!

Don, I think that info may be phony. I haven't seen that stuff anywhere else and I don't see how a small neo-nazi site would have access to all of that. It's also too perfect.
