Is it just me or does anybody else expect RCSMAN to respond sometime with "I fart in your general direction!" and "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!" ?
Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Are those lines from a movie?
6.64 in the French Final....I guess RCSMAN was correct, Lemaitre must of only had 1 training session with Bily.... the Great Master Caraz cannot be defeated!
LOL! I didn't see Caraz running, so what are you talking about? You so stupid !
Today
200M : Lemaitre 20.43 NEW PB WL
Congratulation to Christophe and Carraz

A short answer to you. No Christophe Lemaitre has not tried everything. He is with the same coach who is in his lates 70's to 80's and the guy is old school. Coach Carraz is an average coach in my opinion. His training methods are mostly outdated. Christophe hasn't progressed time wise in around 5 years. That is complete bullsh**. Any elite coach would have taken him to far higher levels. Lemaitre is very shy though and only feels comfortable in his home town with the coach that got him there. So it's sad but unlikely that he will ever get faster. He has already wasted most of his prime years. I hope I'm wrong. I would love to see what a different coach could do with new & improved training methods. I doubt we will ever ses this happen.
Regardless I hope he returns to form this year. I get so excited to see him run. Maybe somehow this summer will be different!
Christophe is trained by the best track coach ever ,Master Pierre Caraz , and he has run 9.8 and 19.6 in training. You all are just ignorant xenophobes. It will come you shall see!Good answer, I guess he's stuck as a regional champ.

LOL! I was being sarcastic. I was not calling you ignorant or xenophobic directly, I was emulating a 'Character' named RCSMAN who posts here and defends Lemaitre's failure of a coach, Pierre Caraz, to no end, even after 5 years of regression. You will know RCSMAN sooner or later.I agree, I am ignorant, as I really don't know anything of Lemaitre's training. I don't know why you wrote xenophobe though? I don't even know who Pierre Caraz is.

Lemaitre makes a very good point in saying, "but I have to show that in competition”.
Because it doesn't matter what he does in training, it only matters what he does in competition.
Yet inn my mind, Lemaitre takes the easy route when it comes to competition.
He does not, and has not, competed against high level competition often enough.
And it's more of the same this year. He opens his season at the French Interclubs meet.
That's club level competition.
No other world class sprinter competes at these low-level meets except Lemaitre.
It's a waste of time, and it's taking the easy road.
He needs to put himself against top competition consistently, so that he is used to it, and not intimidated by top level sprinters.
Running against French club level sprinters is not doing him any good.
"No other world class sprinter competes at these low-level meets except Lemaitre."
really ? Every year, Jimmy Vicaut run at the French Interclub meet ! What's hypocrisy
Alright!! Nice to see him finally try something different.
