Here is another good young sprinter for us to keep an eye on.His name is Christian Blum.He set the Bavarian Youth Record today with a time of 10.41!Christian ran this race in miserable,wet conditions.This is a strong showing for a very young sprinter.Here is a link with the story about him.

I really hope this kid can keep his head on straight.He ran a 10.45 last year.He should easily run in the 10.3 range now and maybe 10.2's by the summer.He needs to stay hungry.Till Helmke looked like he would be a big star but has went backwards for the last couple of years.Sebastian Ernst has also been stuck in neutral at best.Christian just might be more talented than the both of them.I wish some of these kids would train as hard as V.Borzov.No one trained harder than him.He approached it like he was at war.He never was satisfied and always strived for bigger & better things.Keeping your head on straight and staying focused!Good luck to Blum this summer.
