I couldn't agree with you more.The whole world thought
he would not only go sub 10 but also win some medals in
some major competitions.He even had sub 10 plates on his
car in Australia but it never happened.Personally,I think
that the media,fans and fame got to him.He was under
tremendous pressure and he cracked.He also has been hit
with one injury after another.The rumor was that back in
2000,Addidas was going to pay him a million dollars if he
became the first to do it.As we know,it never happened!

I think that 2006 might be one of the last hurrahs for both Shirvo and Macro.They have went from two of the best white sprinters to being very mediocre.They just seem to have their feet stuck in concrete.It kills me to say this because I root & cheer for them both.Injuries have taken their toll also.I really hope that they can find a way to regain their form of several years ago in 2006.Especially Shirvo with the Commonwealth Games being in Australia.He has always wanted to medal there.
