The Yanks traded for Phillies Abreu, nobody else in baseball could afford the guy.
Harmon Killebrew, Carl Yastrzemski, Bruce Sutter and Steve Carlton were not available, so almost no trades have been proffered this year. Someone will waste money on Alfonso Soriano, and maybe Miguel Tejada.
The ARMS of the Tigers, ChiSox, Red Sox, Cardinals, Mets and Twins will prevail. These teams would be NUTS to part with their pitching
