Its offical now! Mitch Mustain has reconsider and now has offically announced that he will indeed join the Razorbacks. He just had a joint news conference with head coach Houston Nutt.

Good deal, and good to see you back on the board Sam! I am glad he chose the Hogs because they need a good QB for the future.

Arkansas' spring game is April 15, and will be on ESPN at 1PM Central. It will be a good chance to see Peyton Hillis and possibly Mitch Mustain in action.

the running backs, including Hillis wore green jerseys and weren't tackled. they were "downed" upon a touch. so those numbers were skewed quite a bit. jones had a big day though, and Hillis looked faster than last year.

We Arkansans saw a prime example of the anti-white racism that prevails in college football and what effect that can have on success this past Saturday night at the USC V Razorback game. Black quarterback Robert Johnson started and was not pulled out until midway into the fourth quarter, despite 3 turns over, and despite the fact that the Hogs have the number one prospect for quarterback in the nation in one Mitch Mustain. He did finnaly play and promptly lead an 80 yard drive to a touchdown on his first effore as a college quarterback! Robert Johnson did not congratulate him when he returned to the bench and Johnson was later booed by Arkansas fans that night.
Coach Houstan Nutt is in deep trouble and speculation is that if he goes less than 7 wins (some say 8) he will be fired. Arkansas left the SWC to join the SEC. Baylor, Texas Tech, Texas, TCU, as former swc conference members have had success since leaving the swc. Arkansas, on the other hand, seems to be self destructing since leaving the swc.

Once again though shouldn't that have been decided in the summer? It makes people wonder whats going on onn top of "the hill" (What in staters call Fayetteville where the U of A is located.)

And some out of staters!

Good point though about deciding it before now. At least it is done though. I doubt they would have won the game anyway, but I'm glad Mustain is now the man.

From the lack of his mentioning I'm guessing Peyton didn't get many opportunities in their opener. What a waste. Fill me in for any added information because I missed the game.

Shouldn't we call this team the Arkansas Silverbacks?

Peyton had 3 carries for 16 yards and one 14 yard catch. Looks like ke is being discarded now that McFadden is back. I bet they will continue to use him in the passing game though.

on the most popular state-wide sports radio call-in show, the black folks in the state have been calling in all week talking about how racism is the "real" reason robert johnson is no longer the starting QB.

of course, these same "mistreated" blacks have no problem with Arkansas starting an all-black defense, or with the fact that head coach Houston Nutt has only signed 2 white receivers, and 2 white DBs, and converted the only 2 white RBs he's signed into fullbacks in the 9 years he's been the head coach.
smiley5.gif
no problm with that at all.

in fact, every time a black caller called in, the hosts would let them vent for a full 7-8 minutes, but when a white caller posed the question "if these folks are so worried about racism, why don't we have any white running backs or receivers or defensive backs?" the hosts cut him off VERY quickly.

no, that's the other big show, and if possible it is even worse than the biggest one.

no, the most popular call-in show is Drive Time Sports with Randy Rainwater. and he's a complete buffoon. along with University of Arkansas yes-man Rick Schaefer, they provide all the propagandic fodder the nonthinking sheeple herd can devour.

I also used to be about the biggest Ole Miss fan you could find, but they became liberal and I said goodbye.

Yes, blacks are indeed angry and venting on local radio programs about how racist it was to depose "RoJO" (Robert Johnson) of his starting position. Apparently the Razorback program is run by Kluxers and Neo-Nazis to hear them tell it! Why Johnson has had death threats and his tires slashed, So they claim. If the program is filled with with racist staff then why are the players majority black? Im willing to bet they all have white girls friends to. Yep! Fayetteville is such a racist place! Lol!

Oh I can hear them now. Those black jock sniffers that host the shows are the ones who let a lot of the anti-white racism slide by without comment and let anything about a black player be trumpeted to the ends of the earth. They all act so superior when they do it to, its too bad they don't know how deluded they are.

Despite the recent victory over Vanderbilt and Alabama there is much controversy and denial going on with the program. Denial is that fans really have no idea of how bad the Razorbacks really are. After the Vanderbilt game the rumor was that Robert Johnson slammed lockers and stormed out of the dressing room disappointed because he didn't see more playing time.
Peyton Hillis did not play in the Alabama game and word is that he is also upset and may consider leaving the program for greener pastures elsewhere. End all to be all star quarterback Mitch Mustain had a dismal showing against Alabama and was beated badly in the stats by Alabama's quarterback. However in over time the Hogs usually shine because they have two NCAA records for winning in the longest overtimes.
Word is not will be fired if he doesnt have at least 8 or 9 wins this year.

Arkansas had a huge win on the road today! Peyton Hillis was overlooked, again, but Mitch Mustain had a great day and looks to become an Arkansas football legend. Peyton ended up with 2 catches for 21 yards. No runs and no kick returns. Mustain was 7 for 10 for 87 yards and a TD through the air and had 2 runs for 4 yards. He threw toward his old Springdale High teammate Ben Cleveland on at least 2 of those incompletions. They have Southeast Missouri State next week at home.

i was at the game! and i still can't believe the Hogs just ran right over Auburn.
smiley32.gif

from a Caste perspective, it wasn't a good game to watch. Hillis was dominant, even though he was playing hurt. but he was almost exclusively used as a blocker.

it hit me right between the eyes at this game, that Arkansas does worse than just start one white guy on defense (MLB Weston Dacus)... they only have one white guy in the defensive rotation period!
smiley7.gif

that's a shame, but at least they are starting to get a few more white guys catching the ball on offense...
