Alex Arthur is the new WBO super featherweight champion!

Since Jose Guzman has given up his title, Arthur now has sole possession, rather than just an interim title.

Nice to see one of our white brothers in Scotland with a world title!

I think Warren is going to build up an Anglo-Celtic clash between Arthur and Mitchell later this year.

Alex Arthur will be defending his super featherweight title against another white fighter, Nicky Cook, this coming Sat Sep 6.

May the best man win.

The best man turned out to be the English boxer, Nicky Cook, who put on a fine display of technical skills, winning almost every round to become the new WBO super feather weight champion.

Wow. I forgot completely about this fight. I can't believe Cook won. I was expecting a UD for Arthur. Either way great to hear we have a new white champion.
