Since 2006, Oklahoma State has started 3, 5, 6, 5, 6, 7, 6, 6, 5, 8, 4, 4, 6, 7, 6, 7 and 7 White athletes. In 2023 they start 8.

For all the grief his black student athletes have given him over the past couple of years it certainly doesn't stop Gundy from continuing to bring them in. Even after the roster attrition that occurred at the end of the 2022 season their was no real impact on the racial composition of this team.

Not to defend Gundy, but he’s starting 8 of our guys. That’s tied for the best in 2 decades. Sadly, other coaches here have been far worse…
