Since 2005 Nebraska has started 11,13,11,12,11,13,14,13,8,10,11,11,9,8,9, 10, 13 and 11 White athletes. In 2023 they start 13.
Matt Rhule, caste disciple extraordinaire is the new head coach in Lincoln after Scott Frost's disastrous tenure. Much like his predecessor Rhule has gifted the starting job to an under performing black QB that was supposed to be Heisman ready when he started for Ga Tech. Sims is the next great black hype but throughout his career he like many other QBs of his hue fail to live up to expectations yet seem to get a free pass. If he struggles it will be interesting to see if Rhule benches him.
