Since 2005, the Miami Redhawks have started 13, 13, 16, 13, 9, 11, 10, 9, 9, 14, 14, 9, 11, 10, 13, 11, 11, and 10 white players. In 2023, they look to start 11.

Starting QB Brett Gabbert is Blaine's youngest brother and the clubhouse leader. He was under-recruited out of high school because of his size, but there are smaller starting quarterbacks in the conference. Watch out for that snow plow offensive line!

Salopek is a third-team All-MAC returning starter at weakside linebacker.

It's hard to get a read on many MAC depth charts before opening week, and Miami is no exception. They have a fair amount of depth at the caste-appropriate positions. It would be nice if Gabbert makes heavy use of his tight ends.
