Since 2010, the Broncos have started 11, 15, 14, 11, 11, 11, 10, 9, 6, 6, 7 and 7 whites. Solid jump to 9 this year with great depth.
I believe QB Hank Bachmeier is half Filipino and wasn't counted in the write up last year, but I've followed Boise State closely for a while and it doesn't seem like anyone in the fanbase considers him anything but white.
Boise State used to be a pretty caste-busting team that was synonymous with white WRs and defenders but that changed the last few years as the program drastically darkened. This year seems to be different. Lots of white defenders, and even though no starters, all three back up WRs on the two-deep are white! DE George Tarlas is a transfer from FCS Weber State. The Boise local should help make noise this year! 3/4 white starters along the DL.
