2015 Marshall Thundering Herd

Since 2006 Marshall has started 5,7,5,5,4,6,5 and 4 in 2013. I could not find a write up for 2014. It looks like they will start 6 in 2015. They recruit heavily in florida and the south rather than staying in-state to get just as good if not better players. Overall a pathetic roster.

At least we don't have to hear the bspn talking heads go on and on about rakeem Cato anymore.

QB Michael Birdsong

Watched first 3 quarters of Marshall-Purdue.
Birdsong had a decent debut. There was some typical Week 1 rust, but he completed almost 2/3rds of his passes, with a pair of TDs. Birdsong also had a killer stiff arm on a score, where he shook off a Boilermaker.
Beating a Big Ten team is a significant victory for Marshall; my curiosity about Birdsong's season, and development, is piqued now.
